Would you prefer a tiny house with cheaper rent or a like a full sized house with obviously more expensive rent?

okay so I am building a community in florida, preferably a community with lower rent, however I am not sure if I should build more regular sized houses, although the rent would obviously need to be higher, so the question is would you all consider living in a tiny home if it was big enough to accommodate 3 people.

Energy Star Homes: Heat Pump, ERV on the duct to save on energy and keep indoor air fresh, Insulation in walls and ceiling, white paint on the interior to save on lighting bill, laminated flooring in living and dining areas for easier cleaning, evacuated window panes with transition films, solar panels, air humidfier and dehumidifier on duct work, central air, fireplace for either for decoration or installed on exterior wall for easy ash clean out and loading, led bulbs everywhere, water softener, on demand water heater, RO drinking water nozzle in kitchen, solar panels on roof and/or wind power for neighborhood hooked up to grid for back feeding, one neighborhood pool and no others, if it’s near the coast use siding that withstands corrosive sea air.

I've just got an investor I'm thinking in Orlando this is why I am trying to get public opinion since I don't want to start and than It be a disaster you know and yes I am 21 and I am a full time insurance agent at the moment but I am probably going to switch to part time until I get the opportunity to go full time into my business wether it's tiny homes or a full luxury development we will see though any feedback is extremely useful

I live off grid on a huge property and I'm like 90% self sustained and that's what I like although Florida does sound very good

I prefer not to rent as it's throwing money away, I saved up a down-payment and bought a house fixed up the basement and rent it out for $1500.00/month which helps me pay down my mortgage principal.

@love_conquers_lust for you the developer it's a good investment but after ten years of renting houses I have friends that have pissed away $360,000.00 in renting houses and have no equity and have nothing to show fir that money when if they saved up a down payment they could have at least the $360,000.00 in equity in their own home.

No shit. I’m well aware how it works. How are they supposed to afford anything else? How are YOU supposed to afford anything else having to rent out your home?

You saved up to stop renting, to move into your place, and start renting out. A lateral move besides collecting rent instead of paying it. And you get to control amenities.

Too bad you don’t make more and wouldn’t have too rent in the first place. Too bad the renting and used car market is so hot right now because too many don’t want to buy or even get the type of home they want right because they’re poor in spirit and finance.
