What is your worst memory?

I don’t even know if I can rank certain memories as the worst, some are equally the worst… But I guess I can explain one memory/experience that I have as one of the worst, and one that I can vividly remember. I won’t go anon for this, but it certainly is something I won’t ever speak about to anyone I know in person.

I had a family friend, a boy who I knew since kindergarten, and his parents were friends with mine. In middle school, my parents couldn’t take me to school because school started later, and my parents worked early in the morning. His parents were able to take me and him to school, so that’s what we did for a portion of a school year. One day, the mom had to go to work early so we arrived at school at 7:30am instead of 9am when school started. We had time to kill, so we walked to a gas station nearby and I followed him like a dog, because I didn’t want to walk alone as a girl and he was like my bodyguard. Little did I know, he wasn’t much of a bodyguard. He walked to this secluded area near the park because there were other kids there hanging out before school, it was a common place to hang out. [Redacted information]… He and the other kids left the area to walk to school, as it was 10 mins before school started. I had to jump a fence with no energy, no adrenaline, absolutely no strength, my head spinning, a soaking wet backpack and clothes, and in pure shock. Ended up slicing up my back on a wired fence, but went on with my day like nothing happened, nothing to say or do, because what could I say or do?

I watched a movie as a child where a man emotionally exploits his girlfriend in a movie and that was traumatizing for me and when I was 9 I heard about a violent crime on the news which also bothered me.

My worst memory was when I was very young.. Before kindergarten.. My dad (person I knew as dad, not my real dad) chose to try to sodamize me in the bath tub.. He did this to me twice.. The second time my mom knew about it and did not care, I told my grandfather about it, and my mother called me a liar.

It was two days before Christmas. My mother came home piss drunk, tried to take a bath and slipped. She then went on to vomit and I did my best to keep her head up over the toilet. In her drunken state, she suddenly thought I was one who had made her slip, and she gave me a black eye.
