Are people with mental health issues undeserving of love?

let me ask this question differently: does a mentally healthy person deserve the obligation to deal with a person that has mental health issues?

well no. i think everyone has the right to have a mentally healthy partner.

But either way i think deserving is the wrong word nobody deserves love. Either you get it or you don't. You can't make someone love you, so you can't be entitled to that

Love? Yes (with exceptions). Romantic love? Not inherently. There are plenty of people on this earth, both with and without diagnosable mental illnesses, that are not deserving of romantic love.

Of course not. They still shouldn't date. Or have kids. It means other people should suffer for them, which is unnecessary.

They deserve love, and treatment.
