How To Get An Esa Letter With No Doctor?

I am a college student and I have a kitten and I wanted to bring him with me because he has helped me through my hard hard times with previous suicidal thoughts/ideations, depression and anxiety my school said I can bring him if I have an esa letter and not getting one from online either I don’t have a doctor because a lot of them don’t take my insurance. The closest one that does is 59 miles away. Is it possible to schedule an appointment with a physician, Doctor, therapist or a psychologist to get one done with just paying instead of insurance do they allow that? I have my documents of proof of needing it.
