Yes, I used to be an quite the little scoundrel before I was old enough to work. Back in school there was no lunch program, so I had to cheat at gambling and steal to eat.

I would rig vending machines to keep the change for me and things like that, as well as quick slight of hand stuff and distraction/misdirection.

Eventually my home situation became worse, to the point where I was feeding and clothing myself and handling all my own school expenses due to parental neglect.

Thankfully I was able to find a good paying job as a short order chef to support myself.

Since then I've lived an honest life, but the experience helped me to know myself. Under hard circumstances some people fold others break bad, I know which I'd be, so I never let it come to that.

I then became a security guard for a while because I was good at catching thieves.

A pack of Juicy Fruit gum, a small pack of incense and a stack of 45's.
The gum was a nickel and I was about 8 years old. The records were under the main display shelve and I just figured they were gonna be thrown away so, I was just trying to keep them from being destroyed. I was about 10. The incense (a pack of about 10 sticks) was only 50 cents and I had no intention of actually stealing it. It was on the counter at a record store and I just thought I'd see if I could sneak it up my sleeve while talking to the store owner. Just to see if I could do it. Once I did it, I figured he'd get pissed at me if I told him that I just lifted it right under his nose so, as he never noticed, I kept it. I was about 15.

Yes. I attempted to steal a Hershy's bar out of a convenience store when I was a child. I knew I would get caught, yet I did it anyway. I had almost gotten banned from that store and had almost gotten the cops called on me. Other times, I have stole years later in either my early teens or at 16. Maybe even later, but I don't remember. All I know, was that I didn't get caught. I didn't steal so regularly, I rarely stole.

I did take some of the extra graham crackers from the classroom table after we made graham cracker house with decorations a few years ago. I don't know if I was supposed to take them but I'll never know.

So… I don’t know what happened… but it didn’t post when I typed this out earlier… so yes I did steal a few times this is gonna crack you up too. But I stole some woman’s underwear when I was a teen. A actually stole a bunch. And then one day my mom caught me and talked to me about it because she was freaking out that I might have been in to cross dressing. But she gave away the underwear and I haven’t warn girls underwear since nor have I stolen anything

As a kid, 13 or so. I would buy something from the local shop, hiding a pack of sweets behind what I was buying so the cashier hopefully didn't see it. They did occasionally, but more often than not, free sweets. It didn't feel like stealing per se as its was them not doing their job properly

Maybe when I was too little to know it was stealing but never when I was aware what stealing was.

I have no need to take what belongs to others and I hate it when it happens to me. It is a real violating feeling.

I have. Once.  When I was a kid I was at the bookstore, and they sold those packages with Pokémon cards.  And I saw one glitter card with Charmeleon, out of the wrapper. So I took it.

Yeah I stole some glitter, legos and a glass vase as a kid but the vase was by mistake. In jr high I stole some bullies ID to cost him money, and currently steal soda bottles and chicken nuggets from my job
