If you could witness (in person) a Moment in History, what would it be?

You've been given a ticket for one round-trip ride in a time machine. You can take it back in time and to any place in the Universe to witness any Moment in History that you want. You can stay there for up to 7 days and return to present time by pressing the time machine's "Return" button.

What would that Moment be?

Note: You won't be able to interact with anyone, you can only observe... it's very important that you do not change the time line.

My choice would be to be on the moon when Neil Armstrong takes his first steps in 1969. If I could, I'd reach out and shake his hand, to see his reaction when he realizes that I got to the moon before he did... but no, that's not allowed.

It's difficult to choose just one. The moments I'd like to witness are:

-the rise and fall of Atlantis.. or the lack there of

-The hanging walls of Babylon

-a day in the life of Homo Sapiens

-From ancient History, I think it would be really cool if I could witness how they built the pyramids. There are no existing records of building plans or discussions of construction methods, so no one knows exactly what happened.

-The eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the subsequent destruction of Pompeii

- the battle of Thermopylae (real one not the stupid 300 version)

-The Christmas truce during WWI

-Martin Luther King giving his memorable speech, “I Have a Dream

-A Beetles concert

-Fall of Berlin Wall

-Last week of Hitler

-Assassination of Franz Ferdinand

-Peak of the Bubonic Plague

-Jack the Ripper (except killing part, I don't like gory stuff).

-Titanic's maiden voyage up to sinking.

-Amelia Earhart's last days

-Ferdinand Magellan's death

-Arrival of Christopher Columbus

-The dinosaurs.

But if only one - maybe just seeing who Jack the Ripper really is.

That or some naval battle in the 1700s - Or colombus finding America and me meeting the indigenous people and seeing everything there as it was - or witnessing the battle of thermopylae - Or maybe going back to when history first started being recorded 70000 years ago (I'd see Neanderthals and weird ass animals) - I'm starting to feel like an excited child - nice question bro
