Laundromat etiquete?

I need to use a laundromat until I get my washer and dryer hooked up. Do I just walk into the store with my laundry hamper and boxers hanging out? Lol can I just throw it all in a garbage bag?

How long do these washers and dryers take? I've heard they're much faster than a regular home owner type.

What you bring your clothes in to a laundromat is up to you. Bring them in boxes, a trash bag, a clothes basket, or a trash tub.

Make sure you read ALL the instructions on the machines BEFORE you use them. Get your settings done before you add coins (some may require that afterwards). Check the machines BEFORE you put your clothes in. Sometimes people use those for dying their clothes a different color and that can stain the next load.

Depending on the washers, they typically take about 35-45 minutes to wash and usually about 25-60 minutes to dry. I highly recommend you do NOT overload them.

About the only time we go to a laundromat is to wash large items like bedspreads, big blankets, or curtains, because they have washers large enough to handle something that big.

Do anything! On the odd occasion our washing machine failed, we dump our washing in large supermarket "bags for life". Then trot off to the laundrette. I have seen black rubbish bags used. All sorts of cases and weekend bags.

however you want to carry it in is your business. But I'd take it out of the bag before throwing it into a washer.

I take my bedspreads and bath rugs etc to save washer/dryer (13 years old now). See all kinds of 💩 in that zoo.
