As for me I went for a little walk around the neighborhood & when I returned home & opened my door the smell of sausage & peppers is the only thing I could smell. I made sausage & peppers for dinner & the smell is all throughout my home now.
I have to be careful what I cook because here in Florida the summers are so hot that you can't just open a few windows to let the house air out.
Your question reminds me of going to Cub Scout meetings at different scout's home. One of our "pack", whose name was John W, had his grandmother living with him and I swear that there hadn't been a window opening in that house since the Eisenhower administration.
Ever smelled old newspapers and magazines inside of a trunk? that was what his house smelled like. I hated going there, and I wasn't the only one in our pack.

We're purging stuff from our basement, and since we've basically been renovating parts of our house constantly for the last 5 years and haven't moved half of the boxes in storage everything was dusty as hell, so it smells like construction dust. But, it also smells like Gain laundry detergent since we just washed a bunch of bedding and we have a gain air freshener by the back door.
Mine smells like pumpkin 🎃 spice latte. I was burning candles 🥰 . It’s fall in my house all year long and thanks for dinner 🥘 🥰
Our home is odourless now but smelled like shrimp and lobster for a few days cause we had red lobster for lunch.

I hate lingering food smells. I try to keep the house aired out as much as possible because I need fresh air even if there is no odor. When it's really hot or cold it doesn't get aired as much as I'd like and the cooking smells can linger.
Soon the season will be right for leaving the doors and windows open 24/7.
As far as skunks, I live in an area that has a fair amount of skunks. I go out for walks at night when they are active. They can be pretty darn aggressive.
Like coffee... LOL... Although it isn't bad, I should get into the habit of throwing the coffee filter out in the trash outside, after making coffee.
The living room has a nice vanilla scent to it because of a vanilla candle I have there. Up here ion my room, sometimes, there's the smell of potatoes just after I walk into the room but, after just a second or two. I think it's something to do with a wicker basket I use to eat potato chips from that's sitting on a dresser near the door. Otherwise, the house doesn't smell at all.
vanilla, flowers, lavender, soap, fruit, and clean laundry - good smelling to us
We're making rice and a nice sauce so it smells pretty good.
I just love your mascot for this post... lol
I love this smell
Today it’s peppermint and lavender. I sprayed around some homemade oils to rid the influx of spiders the neighborhood has been having. Lavender tends to help.
My home smelled like Haluski today wow was it good
Ass. I live with 3 other adults that are DIRTY. Theyre disgusting. I tried to keep the house clean but its impossible to chase after 3 gross adults all day. Its pointless and depressing. I just keep my room clean and wear house shoes in other parts of the house and lay a paper down before setting anything on a surface. Kitchen, bathroom and my bedroom. The only rooms I go to. Lit a candle today in my room so my room smells nice.
Usually, lemons.
Saturday mornings, bacon
Other than food when coooking/eating?
Nothing, I keep it clean.I can't tell my nose doesn't work at the best of times unless its weed
I don't know, I got covid months ago and my smell has been recovering extremely slowly. Hopefully clean
