No way any relationship stays the same. That's a certain way to kill it. There always has to be growth, change and spice.

That depends entirely on what it is, if it's a person or your relationship to your person you literally can't.

Okay if it's a friendship, then yeah you can't make it stay the same. People grow over time and our situations change so maybe one of you gets a new partner or maybe when you get the new job maybe one of you has a kid maybe one of you just has to move across the country. An infinite number of things can happen to change the friendship and that's okay. It's better to have the positive memories then to burn yourself out trying to do the impossible
