I'm generally not fond of change. I can certainly adapt, but sometimes I resent it.
When I was little, for example, I used to build dioramas on my bedroom carpet with dinosaurs, rocks and fake trees. I would fuss to position everything perfectly. At that point, I wanted it to remain permanent and was unhappy when I had to clean it up.
So, even at that age, I liked certain things to remain static once I had them the way I wanted them.
I'm the same way with my house. My wife and I have done lots of things to it. I LOVE the improvements. But, once I'm happy with what we have done, I am content and want it to remain that way.
At work, I loved having my job so wired that I could do it perfectly while sleep walking. I hated it when new changes were handed down from above. But I adapted. Some of the changes wound up being improvements and, once I got used to them, I was happy again.
Built-in changes like "upgrades" in electronic devices piss me off. I am perfectly happy with an old cell phone, computer or TV, and only upgrade when mine becomes inoperative.
I resist buying the "latest" shit.
You sound like me lol especially with electronic devices lol
Unfortunately the updates are necessary. Because if they never updated anything, then the hackers would be able to crack the code and completely infiltrate and destroy everything.
I'm good enough yes... just because life has made me become good at it
and I'd say that I'm much better at adjusting than adapting to the bigger changes
second ones being much more difficult and life altering, especially if they come with negative impacts, the struggle can get very real... (knocking on wood)
while I've experienced a few, I've not experienced all that's for sure, so I guess we'll see how it goes, one by one... but I rather go with adjusting, or the smaller changes because that gives me a better feel of certainty
Knock on wood…😊
✌️
definitely... good vibes as well
It takes me a while to adjust to big changes. The reason I haven't looked for a new job is cause it's pretty big change and I need to make sure it will pay enough to support me and the baby. Plus I'm terrible with interviews.
too good, sadly. due to a past of being moved around and ripped away, yeah, i'm pretty good with change. I don't always like it tho
I hear you

I'm really good with changes happening
It's a mixed bag. I like things to stay the same but also like some things that change.
Like, with Christmas decorations, I like the ones I grew up with and don't care if a lot of them are over 100 years old! I MUCH prefer them to the new ones mom started to use exclusively about 35 years ago. I like the older coloured lights rather than those tiny all whit lights mom always used. I much prefer dad's old American Flyer train set than those tiny new ones they've got, now.
But, I kinda like that music changes... except when it changes for the worse, like the disco era and rap and the shit that, SOME HOW, passes for music, today! I've always been open to various types of music and my record collection spans the last 120-some years but I can NOT STAND disco and rap (someone left the C off of THAT word), or the pop princess garbage of today!!
Left the c off🤣 I agree and with the ornaments too. You should see the ornaments they coming out with. smh
The last couple years we (mom & I) put the tree up, I'd put all of her decorations on the living room side and all the old ones on the dining room side because, she was wheelchair bound and stayed in the living room almost all day and night and I spent most of my waking hours on my computer in the dining room. Luckily, I was able to grab all the ornaments before being forced out of the house!! I wasn't able to get the strings of coloured lights, though! :-(
Awww sorry to hear that
Well I look at it like this from the day that I started walking to this day I've had to adapt no matter what Everything Changes and if you're not willing to change with it you get left behind in a around about way no matter what we do no matter what we experience we are made to adapt it might be in short little intervals it might be a heartbreak it might be a loss but we learn to adapt and keep going just like the first day we started walking and we fell down we got right back up and we did it again we experienced it over and over until we got it right we adapted to balance ourselves and from there we moved on to running we just keep going forward
Sometimes. Most of the time. Or, actually, yes... but I'm not always the fastest. Need to understand and process. But, once I understand it, I'll adapt and I'll be your loudest change advocate. But, communicate with me please, preferably in advance. As a dear, dear friend used to say to our boss: if you want me onboard for the crash, you better have me onboard for takeoff.
Somewhat good at adapting. Some change is welcome, for me. Big changes can be difficult though. For example, I had to move for my job a long time ago, after being settled in the city where I live. It was a major life event to have to pick up and move when it really wasn't my idea to begin with.
Do you like it in your new location or do you attend to move back one day?
Roots are hella important.
I was gone living there for 5 years, and then the company transferred me back. It was good to have moved away for 5 years, but glad I was able to move back.
An inspirational music to answer the sponge's question, well tbh i adapt to a lot of changes but some changes are too harsh to adapt on or nearly impossible to adapt to, especially when these changes happens so fast and all at the same time or the one following the other...
Here's my music for you about changes SPONGY forehead 💆🏼♀️
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6Ozc642noesWould like to say yes. Depends on what type of change that is in question.
That’s true
Easily adapt and change often. A fighter and a survivor. I can’t keep up with myself.
I am already planning for my next 5 years.
I met my honey 6/7 years. ago. I have changed his life upside down in a good way. 😝
Change is good. It keeps life interesting... and is where we often learn new things.
Sometimes
I used to be, I welcomed progress and change. These last ~ten years or so, with all the bullshit coming from antisocial media... I don't know. It feels tiring. :-/
Depends On what I’m adapting to I am pretty adaptable but When it comes to Moving on or Doing something that could Lead to Causing somebody pain I Am not adaptable and A sense of morality Flows through me like fire 🔥 and I won’t Make changes to my life if it Can alter someone life in a negative way.
I think it depends in the situation really, either I have to adapt to a change or if I don't find that a change it's necessary, then I stay the same...
I dislike change immensely, and that may be partly attributed to moving around a lot as a kid because of the bad rental market in Australia.
Depends on the change, but I really like learning new stuff, I see it as a challenge.
Change is very welcome to me.
There are always changes in life so it's best to get on the wheel of change and go with it. Too many people hate change and fight it. Wastes energy because change will happen even if you don't want it to.
If change is good or for the better, I love change... if it is for the worse, then I hate it.
Change is inevitable, and I learned this long ago so yes, I'm good at adapting to it. Some things don't really "need" to change though, so when they don't, I hold on to them.
I adapt easily when there's something on the line. Otherwise, I'm resistant
I like things to stay constant but after some angst get with the plot fairly quickly.
I hate change, it’s to stressful for me so I keep things the same (I have mild autism)
I have a lot of momentum so I'm much better at continuing but can change eventually.
Not good with change so I prefer things to stay the same.
Change but for better like cleanair products
The only constant is change... as you sit still watching things and people change, you will seem to be moving backwards to those progressing.
I'm very good at adapting to change. My entire life has been chaos so I've learned how to adapt. However, my preference is for things to remain steady and stable.
If it's not a change I made myself I might struggle.
Ever since I was a kid I've had a hard time adapting to change.
As much as anyone says they like changes, they don't. People are very much creatures of habit. Just think about your day. I'd be willing to bet that from day to day is virtually identical. People don't like change.
Nope, I hate changes.
Thats one reason I don't own a cellphone
I adapt to the changes which are utmost necessary and I leave the rest as they are
Who would like stuff staying the same no not me lol. 😉
EVERYONE talks about the key to survival is being adaptable.
I DONT want to change, but I DO while kicking & screaming all the way. Frequently, I think afterwards why was I fighting SO HARD? This ain't SO BAD!
Both. I prefer things remain consistent for the most part, but i adapt better than most.
depends on situations. if it is on my side i never change
I can bend on some things, others- not so much!
I have to go now and line up my pencils for morning! :- )
It takes me a while to settle down in another place to live but I manage
I have always been able to adapt and survive
I am slow to change. Mainly because I usually need to evaluate if the changes are better than the old ways!
That depends what kind of changes.
For example, if you try to take away my Mexican Pizza, then no, I don't like that.
I don’t adopt to change easily and a lot of times not at all but I always wish I can because its needed.
It takes me a while to adapt but I eventually switch over. Just like when the year changes, I write the previous year for about 3 weeks.
Yes. My grandma taught you have to learn to adapt while growing up.
Things in life are bound to change so you better learn to adapt.
Survival. Adapt or die.
I prefer familarity anything major makes me over react.
It's a little hard to get used to it. But good changes are always the best.
I crave change. It keeps life interesting.
both… depending on the change
depends on your perception it can be challenging or frustrating
Noooo most changes seem to be for the worst imao
After 12 years in the marine Corp the only thing the same is change.
i hate change, but i go with the flow. like it or not !
stay the same...
Depends on what it is
change is always better for success
I’m quite well at adapting. Don’t take long for me
i'm a status quo supporter.
My job has too many changes, i survive..
yes, im
Go with the flow
Yes.
