I can't stand clutter so I definitely could pull this off.
Yes! my favorite living space was a 30x15 ft living room I had converted to bedroom / rehearsal/ performance area.
A giant bed. White soft bedding bc it’s soothing. White storage seating around the bed for my stuff, & for company to sit on. A giant map mural bc It is a love and Educational. A fluffy white rug for extra seating and for cold mornings. Two ten foot dividers as a door & partition.
The other half was after the dividers so it served as a kind of curtain. The rest was completely empty space, mimicking a stage, for rehearsals.
I’ve lived this way and I absolutely LOVE it. The storage seats were perfect bc they served the dual purpose of seating for audience and storage of things without taking up extra space. Also east to live books etc unlike with book cases. I liked to use air beds bc minimal pieces, just the one piece and very easy to transport.
I used to be a collector of everything I mean antiques watches Disney characters Coins Stamps knives cookie jars you name it I collected it I've been given everything away or selling it because I hate clutter and that's where I am right now I'm headed that direction it's not going to be too the point of the house or the room that you're showing because I still want to be comfortable but everything is going I want to become one with the universe and that's the only way to do it is get rid of all the Clutter all because it takes your energy everything that we own we put energy into it and it takes away from who you're supposed to be

I am fairly minamalist person , but then again i have habbot of saving money and then loosing that saved money on trivial and by my stupidity i always somehow find a way to keep myself poor lower middle class guy.
I have very hard time spending my hard earned money on right things and making right decisions i literally once wasted by 3years hard earned and saved money knowing that i would fuck it up and it was not for me in search of something new.
And it haunts me till now , not bc i lost money but the way i lost it it pushed me three years back economically.
In my room I have an approx. 6ft by 2ft memory foam mattress ab, a pair of shorts, sweat pants, jeans, socks, shoes, t-shirt, sweatshirt, smartphone w/ 2.5 inch screen (Unihertz Jelly Pro), charging cable plugged in next to bed, mini refrigerator, desk, desktop computer w/ 21-inch monitor (only computer I own) w/ Windows 7, Bluetooth headphones, flash drive, credit cards, etc - just basically named everything I own & it's the place, out of anywhere, I always can't wait to return to for solitude..
Yeah I'd absolutely love to live minimalist with all matching colors in the furniture. It's simple and it's always been my style. Going all out with different decoration just isn't my thing.. tho honestly if the place is super spacious minimalism would make it feel kinda incomplete, so it depends on the rooms
We have an autistic toddler who cannot tolerate much of anything whatsoever in a room without knocking down smashing throwing or otherwise being disruptive with it. One way or another, there is a very realistic possibility of our house ending up looking like those pictures.
I already live like that. I have a bed, table and chair in my bedroom, and that's it. I have a few things on the table (like this computer), and a couple of pictures on the walls, but that's it. Who needs anything else?
I enjoy minimalism and it’s something I integrate into my life. But, extreme minimalism? I could live like that for a stretch of time. But, if I were to do it for a lifetime, I’d like a little bit more flexibility.
I couldn’t handle it, at least I don’t think. I would certainly need to be single to even try. I think my husband can handle it, as long as he could have a bike.
