What’s a language you want to learn?

I want to learn a bunch.

I love language so much and I think it’s rlly cool.

My biggest wants are Spanish (which I should have learned at a little girl with a Spanish parent but refused to listen), Arabic, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, and any slovic language lol.

I see a lot of people saying French. Personally I’ve tried learning French and have gotten very far. I can’t rlly speak off memory but I can listen and understand. It’s not as hard to learn as you would probably think

I already know Russian, English, a bit Spanish, American, and Pig Latin. I started to learn German last year, and I have learnt a lot! I want to learn Yiddish, Hebrew, Arabic, and Farsi — the tongue of poetry! I thought about Urdu (very similar to Hindi, but different script), Indonesian, any Yugoslavian tongue, and Tagalog. They said I should learn Italian, since I already know some. If You want to learn a Slavic tongue, learn Bulgarian — it’s the easiest, and many Russians would understand.

Spanish can be very easy to pick up and learn even as an adult... as long as you have a speaker around, never too late to try

personally, I would like to try any of the Chinese, Korean, Japanese languages... because I feel like they're very different from ours over here, that would make it so much more interesting to me, and challenging... lol

I've tried to learn Japanese, but after Katakana, I was like, "Nahh"

I took Spanish level 1 and Spanish level 2 in high school and would have loved to expanded on those up to level 4, but I took them when I was a Senior, so rip

And as of right now, I'm trying to learn Dutch, which isn't as hard as I thought, but still difficult in a way, specifically talking about how to structure sentences correctly in their language lmao

Currently, I can speak Spanish, English, and French. Currently on Russian. Once I reach conversation level, I want to try learning Serbian. Other languages I might learn in the future would be Mandarin, Vietnamese, Khmer, Korean, Persian, and Arabic.

Polish, Lithuanian, and Italian are pretty interesting but I dont know if I would learn them.

Like a lot of things if you don’t try you will never know & as for learning a new language I think it’s wonderful & it isn’t easy but well worth it.

I'd like to learn Spanish more than I already have. We had a (really useless) teacher in AP Spanish for High School (we're take it a couple days a week while in 8th grade), and then had the same teacher again for 2nd year Spanish when a freshman in HS. I learned more on my own chatting with an Hispanic pastor and some of the patrons from our food pantry than from her. And of course , more Bohemian/Czech.

I took french and Spanish as elective but they didn't really stick to me. And I'm not practising them. I would love to have someone teach me Korean. I'm fan of kdramas. It would be fun to understand to an extend without subs.

I would love to learn Japanese for different reasons. Currently, I am learning Chinese because I found more for that on an app and on YouTube. I speak fluent Spanish and can understand most Romance languages.

I can get by in several languages. It would be interesting to learn to speak Klingon. Then I wouldn't have to read the subtitles in Star Trek movies and series.

latin are a nightmare. 😭 I still remember the verbs vocabulary translation. I especially hated my teacher to the point I switched to french next year.

The hardest thing about French is getting the accent right. I can understand a lot of basic words, especially when written, because a lot of words are similar or even identical to English and Polish.

Spanish, I understand a few words but don't speak it correctly can't get the sound of certain words correctly cause I can't roll my tongue. I wished I learned it when I was a little child cause my friends are bilingual though speak Tex Mex.
