Ebay seller has asked if it’s ok if they send a parcel in a weeks time as they are away at the moment?

I’ve bought a dance costume from eBay that I ideally would have liked to have worn for a performance on Saturday. The seller has messaged me informing me that they are on holiday and will not be able to send it until a week later and have asked if that’s ok. I’m pretty sure once I’ve paid it’s eBay policy for them to send within 3 days. I’m not sure whether to respond back saying it’s ok or what. What do you guys think? I want to do things the proper way and wanted the costume here for Saturday but maybe I’ll have no option but to wait :(

The original listing should show an expected delivery date, typically a range of dates. If the seller knew they were going to be away, they should have listed a delayed delivery date. If they didn't do that and now they're saying it's going to be later than you need it, contact eBay and request a refund, explaining why.

Here in the UK you get away periods flagged by eBay before you buy, I had something I bought take almost 2 weeks to arrive because of a preset 10 day away period

I don't know if that applies in other countries but just a possibility but if it is available and they didn't use it then that's bad on the seller
