Does Amazon usually ship delayed orders?

I ordered a very uncommon product on Amazon and they did not ship it yet even though it was supposed to arrive today. I know out of the thousands of times I’ve ordered things, one was cancelled and another was sabotaged where the seller had inadequate supply so did not give me the correct quantity of product that I ordered and I had to complain twice to get a refund, cause the first time I asked for a refund, they tried to cheat me by offering me yet another inadequately supplied order.

There are two types of business that are hurting the small companies. One type, like Amazon, act at as a go between. They take a piece of the profit. I always try to go to the companies own web site.

The second type are the one where you can order any type of food and get it delivered. Once again they take a BIG piece of the profit. If you have noticed more and more small restaurants are going out of business. Get your food directly from your favorite hometown restaurant. Keep them in business. Have a fun day.

Yes they really do, but who know how much later it will come.

It should still ship, I work at Amazon but if there is a delayed could be that there is only one left and it's damaged... so many scenerios

So if it’s not in stock, will they ship it when their supply is replenished? It was on sale so maybe they had too many orders.

I've ordered things that have been delayed, and have gotten them the following day. I am not 100% sure what will happen with your order though. I'm sorry and I hope it arrives.

Did you purchase from Amazon or from a third party seller? Who fulfilled it?

I made the purchase on Amazon and it was supposed to arrive in one day so I think it’s a local product

The Amazon marketplace offers goods from many sellers besides Amazon. Some third-party sellers use Amazon warehouses, some do their own shipping.

Had to have a few returns - they do it in such a circuitous manner. yech
