I need help/advice. Which is a better deal assuming both cars run perfectly fine which I think they do and why?

Both cars are the same models and look exactly alike.

Car A: 2017, 1 owner, no accident reported, excellent interior condition, only 35,261 miles for $29,194

Car B: 2015, 2 owners, minor front accident (car looks perfectly fine) excellent interior condition, 77,005 miles for $21,375

Car A is a better deal.

Car B is a better deal.

Both are equally a good deal.

Not sure.

None is a good deal.

Honestly, I'd need more info to make an informed decision. Given what you've posted here, I would prefer option A, but there are other questions I would have.

What's the engine and underbody look like? Any rust? How well were they maintained? Did the two owners perform regular maintenance, and oil changes? Did the single owner beat the hell out of the transmission? What kind of vehicle are they? Some cars are more reliable, and can go 200,000 miles without a problem, and others start to fall apart at 80,000.

I would suggest that you have them inspected by someone who knows what they're doing. Ask that they be looked over by a qualified, independant mechanic who can see details that most people wouldn't even consider looking for.

For a transaction that big, I'd suggest having the car (or cars) inspected; most places have at least a few mobile mechanics who'll come and look at it for a hundred bucks or so; well worth it, if it saves you thousands. I'd also be sure to consider WHERE the cars were used- if I recall correctly, you're in Florida, so you might not be aware, but a car that's seen heavy winter use up north may have rust damage like you wouldn't believe.

Okay. It's just another factor to consider; I'm not saying it should disqualify a car. Personally, I know very little about automotive mechanics, but am absolutely FANTASTIC at picking out cars that fail at really inopportune times. But it's not just where the car is now, but where it was used- Carfax or other history reports should have that information.

Based on your information, car A sounds the better deal… zero accident, one owner, very low kms for a 5 year old car. Ask for a carproof ensuring it’s zero lien and zero accidents to be sure. Good luck!

Based on the info in this post, I would prefer car A... less mileage and no accident damage.

However, from the limited info, it's hard to tell which is the better deal. I suggest having a trusted mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection of each car. The cost to do that is reasonable, will let you know of any issues that need to be dealt with, and help you decide which car to buy.

Re: your update...
Do the service histories refer to regular maintenance or to problems, and if problems, were they successfully resolved?
For car A... if routine service, that's about right, should be an oil change every 5-6 thousand miles, car was driven an average of 7K miles a year
For car B... if routine service, there should be more services, since 6 is every 12K miles, which is well beyond what manufacturers recommend, car was driven an average of 11K miles per year

My updated suggestion... car A may be the better choice if it passes a pre-purchase check.

Car B I would say is a little better it only had couple accidents. It depends on the person and what they like on. No accidents or accidents to me it doesn't matter, get you to point A to point B.
