Oh, this is bringing that Netflix documentary to mind about the man who killed a cat and posted it online and then people from all over rush to investigate and find out who he was, where he lives and take revenge...

Personally, I'd stop him. If he insisted call the police. That is a crime here in Portugal. He could get 1 year in jail for a single kick, 2 years if the animal is seriously injured or dies... 🚨

In my house we generally like animals more than people. My wife and I would probably just kick them back. My seven year old daughter who aspires to be a veterinarian hasn’t learned to fear consequences yet and even I don’t want to be on the wrong side of that.

I’m confronting them. I don’t handle confrontations well but I’m drawing the line especially if it’s a cat (I’ll do this regardless of if it’s a cat, dog, kid or an adult I don’t care but I’m attached to cats specifically for some reason). It’s wrong to just sit there and let them do that.

No animal deserves to be kicked, their a defenseless animal and that's just cruelity for no reason.

I scold them for an hour. Happened before, I was feeding it because it didn't want to eat when she was trying to. Our energy must've been different cause she was stressed. So she was like "O now you wanna eat?" and she slapped the poor thing. I went ballistic on her until she broke down, went on her knees begging for forgiveness.

It's their cat. Last year I had to get rid of some kittens, a burlap sack and a hammer did the job then just threw the sack in the garbage. The most humane way.

I saw few monnths back, It was an old person. I yelled at him and after much scoulding , I took the cat home. Fed him , removed fleas, bath, food , somedays care , medications and then searched for adoption. He got a new home in 12 days.
