Why does the nozzle keep coming off when using a caulk gun?

Its impossible to come off... nozzle's are usually screwed onnto the tubes, either is silicone either is caulk...

The nozzle you have to screw on which I did but when I pull the caulk gun trigger thing and the product comes out the nozzle comes off. I put the tube inside the gun first then put the nozzle on top. Is that ok?

Did you cur the nozzle in angle?

The nozzle already had a hole at the top i just had to cut the actual bit off the bottle itself so It would come out. So if I put the caulk with the nozzle on through the gun instead of putting the nozzle on top that should hold it in place?

Yes, as long you screw it in

It screws on but then comes off once product comes out

That means the caulk might be dried out

What does it say on exp date?

Its brand new, first use this happened

Check the expiration date, if its expired, then it hardened... so it becomes useless

It has a hole hanging off the side of the nozzle am I meant to cut it off?

All you are meant to cut, is the tip of the tube, before screwing the nozzle. After screwing the nozzle, the tub with the nozzle attached goes in the gun, but not before pulling the push bar, the one with the hook at the end

Yeah an that ring that keeps the nozzle is optional if you want to cut it off or not, usually i cut it off so i can screw the nozzle better

And after u use and pulled the trigger, behind in you need to press that little clip so the pressure of the trigger doesn't continue to push the caulk through the nozzle.

Its probably blocked with a piece that solidified. Get something you can shove down the nozzle. If you can unscrew the nozzle try to fish the solid piece out.

I never had this problem. The cartridge must be defective.

I use a cylinder that has the nozzle permanently attached to the cylinder from the factory.
