Gun heads, what reasons would cause a gun to squib load?

All of a sudden my unfired gun is squib loading and I don't know where to even begin to fix the issue, is it the rounds? I will admit that everytime I come home, I unchamber the round in the barrel, so it might be wear to the rounds but the gun slides smoothly but about every 8 rounds it jams into a squib round, the gun hasn't been fired, it hasn't been half a year since it was cleaned and lubed, is it a faulty mag spring?

How I realized it's jamming was when I tried to unchamber it, the first round jammed so I did racking tests by cycling full mags through it and i did it 4 times, used the same mag twice and it jammed both times on that mag, I used another twice and it didn't jam, at this point I don't know if its the gun, mag or rounds 😐

A squib load is a round that either has no powder or an insufficient powder charge - which usually means that the bullet ends up being stuck in the barrel because there wasn't sufficient force to push it through the barrel. In most cases, the bullet must be removed manually with a rod.

What I think you are talking about is bullet set-back, which means the bullet is being pushed back into the case, and thus not feeding into the barrel. This is rare (but not impossible) with factory new ammo, but can be common with reloaded ammo, especially with brass that has been reloaded several times. But even with new ammo, rechambering a round over and over will usually lead to bullet set-back eventually. You can't keep rechambering the same round indefinitely.

Unchambering and rechambering a round will cause it to shorten over time. This can cause misfeeds and even change the pressure of the eventually discharge of that round. It's best to cycle the chambered round out pretty regularly. Or shoot it.

Also, I've had bad ammo that never fed right, and I've had bad barrels that didn't feed any ammo very reliably. Too flat of an angle on the internal side

To unjam it you just let the mag drop, I figured it out myself, to fix, I'll probably have to get new rounds or something

Either the gun hasn't been cleaned or bad ammunition. Could just be a bad gun. I had a mini 14 that jammed every 10 rounds or so. I tried everything, took it to a gun smith. Changed rounds but it was the mini 14.

Probably a mix of mag and ammo that don’t work together. But the root of your problem is you don’t use it, guns are tools and meant to be used. Buy a few different magazines, take it out and run them and find what works

Damn. . . I've never seen a Glock malfunction like that unless the user was gripping to high and causing slide bite

It's when the round jams in a position where the round is still facing into the barrel and if the slide slams it can fire the round or explode the round, or it jams in a position where you might fire another round into that round and from what I've heard it can be very dangerous, unjamming it was simple tho, if you release the mag it unjams

You need to see a competent gun smith. A squib load is when a round is fired and does not leave the barrel. This is dangerous. If you fire a second round into a jamed barrel, you could be injured or killed.
