I’d take the birds or the bear 😭 I’m scared y'all but fck debt. I been staying out of that all my life and pray to continue to do so. I actually had a bird come at me in the grocery store and it was painful af. It was 2 birds fighting over a fckin cheeto so I don't know if i can handle 10. But i def dont think i can handle a bear cause have y'all seen Without a Paddle 😂

I don't want to be torn in half (Gorilla),
I don't want my spine chewed up (Lion),
I don't want to be rag dolled (Grizzly),
I don't want to be amputated by razors trying to swim and not drown (Shark),
And I don't want my lungs collapsed (Anaconda).

Seems like the only ones I'm willing to take a chance at are the birds and crocodiles. I think I can handle a few puncture wounds from constant pecking and clawing (even from birds like raptors and parrots).

And a lot of crocodile species are afraid of humans. Even though their 3,000+ psi bite force and sudden sprinting sounds terrifying, they will likely run away from you. And if they don't, you can fight them off you with a knife, and if you can get a hold of their jaws and keep them closed (their jaw muscles are weaker when opening, supposedly), they're pretty much subdued... unless they roll, I guess.

The only ones that would be scary would be bears and lions, but i’m fairly confident i could still survive. Don’t even need the knife. We know a great deal about predatory behavior and how to NOT appear as prey. We also know a great deal about territorial behavior and how to appear submissive. Being a complete geek for wildlife programming and out of doors experiences, you could pick the cage for me. It’s all the same to me. Ell oh ell!
I think i’d REALLY like to be accepted into a troop of gorillas though. Dian Fossey was a goddess as far as i’m concerned.

People who have lived here a long time look at me like i’m nutz when i admit that. They’re all very frightened of bears and mountain lions. Easy: the gorilla. They're basically herbivores, they're VERY nonaggressive, and while I'm big enough to be seen as a threat (unlike most humans), I'm also big enough to be seen as a threat- so it'd hesitate. Their body language is similar enough to ours that I could probably calm it down and just pass by unmolested.

I was going to say either the snakes because I could easily chop them in half with the knife and as long as they aren't poisonous snakes (and you didn't say they were), I'd survive. You also didn't say they were big snakes, like anacondas either. They could be ten garden snakes, for all I know.

I also was going to say the shark, because you said it's a zoo cage, and not an aquarium tank, and as far as I can remember, sharks need to survive in water and don't do so well outside of it. So that's basically a half-dead shark to kill. (You later said it's a "pool" but that goes against your rules of it being a zoo cage.)

But no, you said ten birds. Not even eagles or falcons, but like pigeons or something! That's clearly the easy choice there. You shouldn't have mentioned that one.

Birds hurt. I don't know if you’ve ever been attacked by a flock and pecked and slapped by how fast they fly. Its painful. I know. The snake pit is like in the pic, anacondas/garden snakes/rattle snakes/boas etc but we’re just saying theyre not poisonous in this scenario. And yea you could cut them up but the others may attack once they see you cut one. Clearly the story has plot holes but its a small pool that the shark is in like killer whales pool at SeaWorld. I trade half my ras/black/golden berries for free protection. Though I have to always have signs at the front of the driveway of the cabin warning people about them XD. As its always awkward to have to explain to visitors not to panic if they get a literal bear hug. I taught them to be super tame. They get honey on a regular basis if they are nice to people.
