For those of you without AC, how do you keep cool in the summer?

Personally I'll leave bowls of water in the freezer and place them in front of my fan to sort of have a makeshift air cooler 😂

Snow cones. Seriously- go out and get yourself a machine; you can probably find one at a resale shop for a few bucks. They're a bit noisy to operate, but it's surprisingly good at cooling you down, and, since ice is, y'know, ICE, it has no calories. There are VERY many choices of flavoring syrups to improve the taste, and many are also calorie-free.

Here in the tropics you just get used to it.

I look for some air-flow (fan) and shadow during the hottest part of the day/s.

Add some iced soft drinks here or there.

If ''you'' can't stand summer heat - then go living in Alaska :D

Cold shower, drinking water, eating ice cream, a fan, putting my head and hair under the tap and allowing my hair to get soaking wet and just let the water drip from my hair onto my body. Ice packs as well.

open the windows at night, close during the day is generally enough. Unless the temperatures stay hot for a long period of time.

Also eat ice cream, and for some really hot days, a wet towel.

And ofcourse drink lots of water.

When I was in jail, It got to about 125 in those cells. No AC, nothing. People were falling out. I took a tote, filled it with water, and sat in it, in my underwear.

Drink lots of ice water, wear loose clothing, don;t run around too much.

I have central air-conditioning I live in Florida it’s very hot you have to have it

Lots of cold showers, and staying naked all day helps too.
