How do you keep your pets cool in the summer without A/C? Also, I have fans and cold water for them?

I used to make sure they were hydrated and had a shady place to hang out.

is it two or three of them? they look very fluffy

okay one important thing you should look for is this... if they are restless, if they cannot sleep or nap, if they are constantly awake and walking around, that would be a sign of them overheating and are not comfortable at all...

but if your pic, I see them napping and look very comfortable, which means... they do like those spots and they are cool enough for them

other things you could check for is, check the bottom of their paws for sweating, if you see them panting and their tongues are out and dry... if you see them lethargic (tired and not able to sleep or rest) those would be bad signs

about the things you could do, is... just have a cool spot for them where the sun won't hit, they usually find them on their own... and also change their water constantly, have fresh cooler water for them at all times during day hours

and if you can, help some with their grooming, a wash cloth damped in cool or cold water should be enough to make them feel cooler, they will do the rest with their usual grooming

if their coats are too thick and furry, you should get a brush as well, heat or no heat

Weird its hot in your area its pretty cool where im at right now in SoCal lol i'd say buy some ice packs and keep freezing them. Or try installing those AC window fan thingies of thats even still a thing lol
