Well America has seized a lot of yachts so these rich people are probably thinking them so they can collect it insurance money on them since America won't give them back

How about, Owned by Russian oligarchs, who cannot afford to run them because of the sanctions brought about by the conflict between Ukraine/Russia, and those same Russian oligarchs are sinking them to claim the insurance money.
