I still dress up even tho Ill be turning 24 before Halloween and i will give candy to trick or treaters or trick or treat in my neighborhood. I guess it depends on my friends too. How about you?

I guess i have an advantage of looking at least 19 since im short and according to most people i do but literally i love Halloween and wanna pass the traditon with my future children someday.

First: know your neighborhood. Are there a lot of treat-or-treating-aged kids? If so, and you REALLY want to make an impression (and can spare a few bucks), go out to Costco (or your local equivalent) and buy a box or two of Hershey bars- the full-sized ones. Give THOSE out. You'll be a LEGEND in your neighborhood, though you WILL be expected to maintain that year after year. It's what my mother did when she realized that the upcoming Halloween would probably be her last. We wound up selling the house before the next Halloween, though, so I DO feel a bit of pity for the new owners.

I actually stoped doing anything for hollowed when I was 13 or so and my dad and I had an amazing night of hiding in our house with all the lights off and watching movies. I think we watched the Aladdin trilogy that year. Just TV dinners a pint of ice cream each and an avoidance of tricker treaters. And then met the girl who changed my life in collage and her birthday was on in October so like you Halloween was her favorite time of the year. I tried to dress up for her. But it didn’t work. Nothing came to me… lol!

Ya know, I used to trick or treat when I was a kid... and I tricked or treated a few years back as an adult. Not just for the candy, but to test my youth appearance. Supposedly, I still got that 90's face. We age but our faces look young. However, I'm gonna sit at my home this time. If i want candy, i'll get it. And I've fked up my teeth to the point sugar makes me nervous... sooo gonna just stay home lol

I only go to a few houses and come home because i like passing candy out or giving out little goody bags for the kids and seeing their cool costumes. Tbh i always watch at least one scary movie leading up to Halloween picking out one of the scariest ones.

:_) that's so sweet. See if my community had homey people I could see us doing those things, but it would be weird if we hardly go outside on our lawns all year, and only come out to ask for candy and smile on one day lol

Well the thing is my neighborhood is quiet and most people keep to themselves literally and we all got our own busy lives you know but now and then during the seasons the people will celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Easter and 4th of July mostly. Some kids did lemonade stands down the block but they didn't do it this past summer so i guess where i live it's sometimes if people have the time or in the mood kind of thing lol but Halloween is usually something they all come out for, i think too because its not as hot as summer since im in California where it gets hot in my city.

@Rosexøxø Halloween is the funnest holiday i love Christmas too but Halloween is so cool and exciting! I will love it even when im 30 or 50 lmao but seeing my future kid (s) look forward to it will put a huge smile on my face.

I like to pass out candy to the kiddies. It's also a good way to meet or keep in touch with many of the parents who walk with their kids.

It makes me feel old when I remember passing out candy to young kids who have graduated from college now. Probably some of them have kids of their own now.

Anyway, I look forward to it. It's a very neighborhood thing.

I used to enjoy going to Halloween parties dressed up in fun costumes, even if it wasn't always spooky ones.

It has been sevral years since I did it now and I still have a costume put away that I never got to use for the last Halloween party that I was about to go to but I had to cancel last minute.

Halloween isn't really a thing here, the young people just use it as an excuse to dress up and get drunk at a bar/club... I personally just dress up and watch horror comedies and eat candy until I feel sick.

We always feel bad by not giving candy like ehhh some may be rowdy but it's only once a year at least that they will have a big sugar rush all night at least i looked forward to that as a kid lol.

I wanna be something cute or scary but my mom says it'll scare the little kids meanwhile the older ones will like it so I don't know yet maybe stranger things cosplay or a TV character, sports character or disney? Im gonna look online lol.
