Could you handle an immense level of power? (Part 2) Would you want the power of a god?

"The power of a god..."

That is the statement said over and over again in one of my television shows, Team Kate. In this fantasy series, we follow archeologist Pedro Rodriguez, and his Polish assistant Nina Poltranov, as they try to protect social-justice-minded college student, Kate Soloft, who is the human descendant of one of three ancient and powerful world-ending goddesses.

While Kate is a bit self-absorbed, immature, and doesn't want to listen to Dr. Rodriguez, she soon learns her life is in danger by Duesa Grupo, a fanatical and well-funded cult that worships the goddesses, and is being hunted by two of the cult's members, Diamond and Crystal, that want to use her to bring the goddesses back.

The trio that comprises "Team Kate" have to go across the country, finding the "god jewels" that will stop the impending resurrection of the the three world-ending goddesses, in addition to saving Kate's life in the process. But as Duesa Grupo, Dr. Rodriguez, and many others wonder... "What would a human being truly do with the unlimited power of a god?"

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE POWERS OF A GOD? To be like Dr. Manhattan, Superman, Goku, and many others. To warp the world around you like it's nothing. Could you handle the powers of a god?

Based on this first question here (one of my best ones, in my opinion).

I would grab that opportunity with both hands. I'm human so I will probably not be a good goddess, but by MY standards I would be.

But I would recruit my sister too so we both share the burden. She can go spread positivity, healing and feeding the hungry, growing crops for people while I... will take pleasure in getting rid of criminals and punishing those who did wrong.

I'd kill off criminals, I'd release the innocent, I'd put the ones who framed the innocent through torment for same amount of time as the innocent suffered before I came to be a goddess. And people who tried to frame get the bullet.

I would create beings disguised as people that hunt down all the criminals roaming free so I can sit back and enjoy the show.

I'd also appear before everyone with one book of rules and that would be the only thing everyone should follow. People thinking otherwise will be deleted.

Not sure I would trust myself with that power. I wouldn't have the patience to wield it. I'd be an extremely vengeful god.

Imagine giving Jigsaw divine power, like shown in Bruce Almighty.

There'd be a lot of leftover stalagmites and thorny weeds in my wake. Plenty of charred skeletons. More poetic serial kills than in the film Se7en. School bullies trying to drive kids to suicide would especially become targets of my wrath! They'd all be handicapped in some way!

Various dictators would be my cosmic punching bags. Groomers would see their brains rewired so they can't get a rush of dopamine anymore, no matter what they do! Their lives would feel absolutely meaningless, no matter how many victims they tried to claim!

Woke school material publishers would awaken at night to find demons dragging them to Hell! I'd resurrect everyone BLM or Antifa ever killed, and then send venomous snakes and scorpions after BLM and Antifa rioters, to let them know that their crimes in 2020 are not forgiven! I'd then go after the politicians and others who enabled these scumbags, and turn them into the sorts of human trees you see in AI-generated art!

All abortion mills would be forcibly shut down. Those who refuse, would be blown up with cobalt-60, making that site too radioactive to run a clinic for the next 3,000 years! Planned Parenthood personnel would be hunted down by shrieking banshees, cutting them to pieces with all the wrath and fury of a Japanese ghost!

Those slain in abortions would be raised from their tombs, that they may claim vengeance upon those who wrongly ended their lives!

"Rise, my army, and avenge yourselves against them! Ruin that beach belly that your mother was too proud to forsake! Castrate that excuse for a doctor! Collect THEIR body parts in jars, as they once did yours! And blow up their adrenochrome trucks! Tear down their statues of Baphomet with extreme prejudice, and impale their heads on the shards!"

I'd go back in time, and equip everyone in Kenosha trying to defend their lives and businesses with Ghost Rider-style hellfire shotguns! Have them go on offensive against the Marxist rioters! "Burn, MFrs, burn!!!" Have the locals mail the heads of fallen BLM and Antifa troops to their Marxist masters! Grab Soros and others like him, and teleport them to the surface of Venus!

I don't think any human could handle the powers of a "god"... But, I would try my best to.. 😁.. I would try to be humble about it, and not tell anybody except maybe a few I could trust.. Which considering I have all that power, I wouldn't really know.. Probably my mother.. I would probably play a few pranks, but would mostly try and help people, and test the limits of my power by going to space, or try changing the molecular structure of something.. I would definitely stop all crimes..

could i do it yes, would i want it is another story. i work in high pressure everyday in healthcare being everyones everything including hero. every so often i have that one day where i question it all but. but some of that power is knowing when you can only do so much to fix things.

Sure would, probably have some underground labyrinth with lots of obstacles and traps to get to me. Then anyone that shows up will have their wishes of death granted as I am the goddess of death.

Otherwise I'd mind my own business and ignore mankind.

I would not want to make things easier for mankind as people grow and become stronger through struggle and challenges. Those who are given things, often take it for granted and waste the opportunities.
