As a kid I did everyday, however, during my teen years I did not at all. When I started university I started to again and as an adult everyday. To me personally it gives it that clean room feel even when it's a little untidy in my opinion.

+1 yYes, every day without fail.
On most occasions all it needs is the sheet straightening and pull the duvet up. It takes virtually no time at all.
If the sheet needs to be changed and we are in a hurry for work we might just strip the bed and pull the duvet up, but we never leave it in a mess.

It looks so boring and awful. And makes me feel accomplished that I made my bed so when I get back to it, it looks welcoming for me.

My bed never gets messed up and is pinned against the wall, so no, I never have to do this. I used to do it back in my old apartment in the US, though.

That's a lie, while away at university I would occasionally crash at one of my friends/classmates apartment and her other roommate who was like 25/26 (I was 20 at the time) her room was so freaking atrocious. And I mean we're talking about food on the floor, on the bed, in the bathroom including in the bathtub. Clothes everywhere, and other stuff that we're not going to mention. She made teenage me look extremely clean. Plus she had a dog and refused to give him flea baths so her room had fleas everywhere

+1 yYeah I do it to help maintain my routine and discipline tbh I actually feel bad if I don’t make it now because it’s such a simple task that takes less than five minutes so If I can’t do that before I start my day I feel unorganised and incompetent.

+1 yI leave my bed the way I leave it; I see absolutely no point in artificially gussying it up to make it look like it hasn't been used. Mom kept telling me I should, but never give me a reasonable explanation as to WHY I'd want to do that.

My wife has OCD also. I think it gets worse the older she gets.

+1 yNo. To me, it feels like there’s more of the bed when everything is sort of everywhere. Of course, the sheets and such are where they’re supposed to be, in the bed as intended, but PINGAS

+1 yI do because it prevents me from spending the entire day in bed and a clean looking bed satisfies me.

10 ReplyUsually yes. Sometimes I am too lazy to do it before I go to work so I just do it after I come back from it.
10 ReplyYeah because I have no choice if I don't wanna sleep uncomfortably

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yYep. It makes me feel more organised. I always feel like it starts my day off better I don't know why lmao
10 ReplyWhy? Does your bed magically "unmake" itself during the night? I don't get it.

00 ReplyI don't, why make my bed up when I am going to get back in at night? I might if I have a guest but otherwise it not worth the hassle.

+1 yNo for 3 reasons. 1. I'm a man. 2. I usually sleep in three different areas. And 3... I'm single again and can actually do what I want.
