Feminism began as a movement to get the law changed so that women could vote. Then it pushed for changes in laws that prevented women from being discriminated from getting bank accounts, credit cards, and loans on their own. Given the changes in the world, these were all necessary, and probably overdue.

But then, in the late 1950s/early 1960, Marxists, under the direction of agents ran by KGB officers, began a big push for subversion (to disguise their agenda by marketing it as something else), and they began to infiltrate and take over social movements in the west. This included the racial equality movement, the environmental movement, and the feminist movement. Marxist goals were divided up amongst these three groups, whichever group could best disguise its goals under the name of the movement it took over.

Marxist leaders, going back to Karl Marx, recognized that defeating a capitalist democracy couldn't be done politically, financially, or militarily - and the USSR killed itself trying to compete militarily. Subversion is a LOT less expensive, and a lot less risky, but it also takes a lot longer to accomplish the goals - but these Marxists were prepared to play the long game. It also helped that they had a number of the world's wealthiest people/families on their side - people who already had tremendous power and saw Marxism as the best way to ensure they kept that power.

The Marxist goal of taking over the environmental movement was to destroy western industry. The goal for the racial equality movement was to create racial division and in particular, to get the majority of people (white people) to hate themselves and call for their own destruction. And the goal for the Feminist movement was to destroy the relationships between men and women, and especially to destroy the nuclear family. They wanted to greatly reduce the number of kids born, and to destroy families so that people no longer had a support system around them that would help them when they struggled. The overall goal was to cripple western societies to the point of civil unrest - so that all of the existing systems were completely broken - so that people would vote in Marxism as a savior. Of course, Marxism ALWAYS devolves into a totalitarian dictatorship almost immediately, which means all of the wealth of the entire population is stolen by the dictator and awarded only to a handful of elites that are blindly loyal to the dictator - everyone else is a powerless peasant, completely living at the whims of the dictator. We've seen this play out in the USSR, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Cuba, Venezuela, and a number of middle-eastern and African countries - all of which were virtually destroyed in the process, and most of which saw millions of citizens (tens of millions in the case of Russia, China, and North Korea) killed by their own government for political reasons.

Most of the major Feminist leaders since the 1960s have admitted to being Marxists, and they've made it very clear that the destruction of the nuclear family was their goal. The fact that this hurts women didn't matter - these leaders didn't actually care about women, they cared about furthering the Marxist agenda, with the idea that a Marxist utopia would eventually be better for women. Of course, this is what a Marxist utopia actually looks like:

Another interesting side effect is that, as women have become more masculine, and men more feminine, women are more likely to experience domestic violence - and there's a substantial increase of this among liberal feminist women, who are more likely to date more feminized men. It seems that these women especially tend to bully and threaten their men (with divorce, withdrawing access to their children, destroying their career, etc.), and these men often respond with violence as they see that as their only option. They imagine that when Marxism takes over, they'll remain among the elites with even more power and privilege. No, we're not treated with more respect, women just only pay attention to guys at the top of the food chain, like bosses, so they think men get respect. Most women are treated with kids' gloves at work, because men find them attractive or feel protective of them. Women get promoted easier than men based on nothing but sex appeal. There are way more women in higher education than men, so if you're getting paid less, you suck at negotiating pay. This is likely another case of "men" in feminists' minds really meaning "men in leadership positions". These are a tiny fraction of men.

You say you want equality, but I highly doubt you want to pay for everything in the relationship, be the one to ask the other person out, and get all the rejection men get. I doubt you want to be judged on your career success in dating. I doubt you want to die earlier. I doubt you want to be forced to risk your life to defend your country, as in Ukraine. Let's be very clear: the exact same thing would happen to men in every country, if that country was invaded. They would be forced to defend it with their lives.

I doubt you want to live in a world where the opposite sex can go to an egg bank and have a baby on their own with some super attractive woman way out of their league, and you are basically not needed. I doubt you want equality in terms of media coverage, where you are held collectively responsible, and demonized, for the sins of other women.

It's only bad in the sense that it is a psychological defense mechanism against accepting reality that women are naturally created to fulfill different biological, familial and social roles than men. Similar to drugs or alcohol it is a tool to cope with a reality that some women do not want to accept.

The problem isn't that women naturally have different roles in society than men, the problem is that women have been brainwashed by the political agenda of the left into believing that their role is somehow demeaning (which is not). After millions of years of history, this is a new phenomenon that started just decades ago (a mere fraction of a second in the context of human history) as a political movement to divide men and women and break down the foundational family unit, in order to weaken the society so that "progressives/communists" could reorder the country to their tyrannical liking.

I would like to k ow why you say they have a different natural role than men do. Manly because in the vast majority of animals females hunt and protect their family as much as the males. Not just that, but many animals live in matriarch societies. From lions to apes.

Also humans are very socially complex, to say "you must do that" is to put people I side a box most of us don't fit in.

Also there are men who don't want to have kids or get married regardless of their education status. 3. Men have been cheating for centuries, just take a look history and how men wanted or had multiple wife's or concubines. This comes from a lack of self control and greed. Feminism has absolutely directly increased the cost of living. It's also reduced wages significantly by diluting the labor pool. Think about it on a small scale: if only men work outside the house, and you have 10 families, you have 10 potential workers. If you have 600 hours of work that has to be done, then you're going to have to pay these workers really well, or they won't work 60 hours a week for you. But now if women work too, you have 20 potential workers. Now you can hire all 20, and make them all "part-time" workers, which means you don't need to give them benefits, pay them overtime, or even pay a high wage. You work them all 30 hours a week, your payroll costs are reduced as much as 50% (benefits and overtime pay adds up quickly!), and the company wins. How did the workers fare? You now have both the man and the woman working outside the home, for less total pay then the man was bringing home by himself before, and with no benefits, since they're both part-time workers, so now they have to pay for their own health insurance, they get no pension or 401K matching, etc. Likely less home-cooked meals (cheaper and healthier) because you're more likely to eat out, and clothing costs likely go up. All in all, the families lose at every turn, and the companies win.

Many of the wealthiest industrialists of the early 20th Century supported feminism, with the goal of doing exactly this: increasing the pool of available workers which would drive down the total cost of labor. It took 30 years longer to happen, but that goal was definitely accomplished.
