Driving lessons are charging 100 dollars for 1.5 hours of practice driving. the prices are so expensive that I haven't been driving very much and all the skills that I have learned in the past when i was driving more regularly has already been lost after i stop paying these rip off driving schools. i have been thinking: wouldn't it be better to just buy a second hand car , buy insurance so that I can drive it whenever I want, however long of a practice i need? I need at least 3 hours of practice driving a day and I can easy pass my road test within one month's worth of driving. If i can practice 3 hours a day for 1 week, I can get more practice driving than if i paid a driving school for 3 months.
If you can afford that path, then great - and you'll have a car to use when you're done, which presumably you'd need anyway if you're getting your driver's license.
But if you are JUST after the license, and don't plan to drive much after getting it, then just buying the car to get the license might not be the best way to spend the money.
Most people have a friend or some family (even if more distant family) that can loan their car and help them learn, and if you can do that, you'd be better off than buying a car you don't need. Though, again, if you're going to need a car anyway, then, sure, get one now.

At least in my country that would not be allowed as a learner you need to be driving with some one who has a fall license and driving for a few years. Assuming you can drive solo in your country i imagine the insurance costs would be very high for a learner to drive on public roads with no other person, i would be surprised if you could even get insurance

I don't know where you live, but here in germany is highly illegal and super dangerous to drive without a license.
So for your own and others safety i would recommend spending the money and learn to drive properly.Find a friend to help you. Choose the safest driver that you know.
Unless a friend can help you, then this isn’t a bad idea.
