I would say Mike Tyson is a pretty scary person. I remember seeing a fighter called Cassius Clay in my youth and he changed his name later in his career changed to Muhammad Ali. I liked him as an individual and he stood up for his beliefs. He was an excellent fighter.
The Big Bear was quite simply the most intimidating man who ever set foot in a ring. Don't get me wrong, Mike Tyson was scary, a generationally scary, fighter, but Liston's talent for terrifying his opponents was more legendary.
Mike Tyson was the only one that was crazy enough to bite off somebody's ear. I remember that fight. I feel sorry for the guy that had his earbudded off.
Instead of being here but it should be ear was being bit off.
Sonny Liston was the scariest of them all. He was past his prime by the time He fought Ali
Hell know being a couple inches taller & weighing about the same first Ali fight he was 218 lb Tyson in his prime weighed between 215 to 220 & Liston having a incredibly long reach 84" for someone 6′1 & 14 or 15 inch fists & you can believe this or not hit or punched much harder then Tyson. The only advantage I would give Tyson is speed he was faster but it wouldn't matter because & I'd bet my house on this Liston wouldn't take a backwards step he would be backing Tyson up & Tyson doesn't have anywhere near the same power backing up & with the over a foot reach advantage 3 or 4 rounds Liston by ko.

If I didn’t know them all of them despite the expressions of anger on their face I wouldn’t really be thinking about hand to hand fist fighting. I would wonder if they would have a weapon that’s what mostly crosses my mind or if they have back up
They are my top 3 nobody wanted to fight but at his peak, Liston was the scariest and strongest. Tyson was a Tasmanian Devil in the ring and George was so strong, he could lift you off the mat with a punch.
Tyson, no doubt. Arguably the MOST ferocious boxer ever. However, listening to him talk about Dempsey gives me mufuggin goose bumps!
I wouldn't be afraid of any of them. Especially considering how TINY Mike Tyson is! He's basically my height! But I guess, the "scariest" looking would be George Foreman. I guess.
Mike's tyson with fast lightning speed tho along with punching power is insane.
Sonny had endured such a hard life that nothing phased him at all. Every fighter who faced him knew that he was the real deal, a genuinely tough man, and it wasn’t a game…
No boxer, ever, had a harder or rougher upbringing than Sonny Liston.
Sonny was the product of a harsh, unforgiving, life. Charles "Sonny" Liston was born into a sharecropping family, the second youngest child in a combined family of 25 children, who farmed the rocky, poor quality land of Morledge Plantation near Johnson Township, St. Francis County, Arkansas. Sonny said, confirmed by other family members, that his father inflicted beatings and whippings so severe on Sonny that the scars were still visible decades later:
“The only thing my old man ever gave me was a beating," Liston said.
The relentlessly sadistic father’s whippings left lifelong scars on the boxer:
“If he missed a day,” Liston said, “I’d feel like saying: ‘How come you didn’t whip me today?'”
“He started a fight with a cop, beat the cop senseless, snatched his gun, picked him up and dumped him in an alley," [Sonny] then walked away smiling, wearing the cop's hat."
Never heard of Sonny Liston. I wouldn’t want to walk into Mike Tyson ever
Sonny Liston stands alone, in the mists of time, as the scariest fighter who ever lived. He wasn’t just the scariest of himself, Tyson and Foreman, he was the scariest fighter period. Strong men trembled going to face Sonny Liston…

Mike Tyson has a reputation for crazy so I’m going with him

Mike Tyson - no stranger to being feared himself - says flatly the most powerful, strongest, most intimidating fighter in history was Sonny Liston.
So does George Foreman.
Mike Tyson and George Foreman both based their intimidation schtick on Sonny’s Liston real life persona.
Sonny had endured such a hard life that nothing phased him at all. Every fighter who faced him knew that he was the real deal, a genuinely tough man, and it wasn’t a game…
