I’m not sure whether to stick with my driving instructor or find a new one?

I had my first driving lesson yesterday. The instructor was nice and calm when he was explaining things however I noticed he would get abit angry when I didn’t get things quite right. For example, when I was putting the gears into neural I did it too vigorously and looked at me like I was stupid and said ‘alright, you don’t need to do it like a maniac’. Then later he taught me to move from first to second gear. The first time I did it I was very slow moving up gears and I could tell it annoyed him. The second time I didn’t quite get it, and I really felt that he thought I should have got it right straight away and felt bad to have not done. The third time I got it a lot better and he told me to stop the car, so I parked and he said ‘ this is the worst place you could have picked to stop’. I’m not sure if I am just being sensitive and should just carry on with this instructor. What do you guy think?

This guy ran out of patience with you unfortunately. I’m guessing he’s had a lot of students possibly having same troubles as you. I’d find someone else if I was you. Maybe a woman - women seem to have more patience than men in my experience. No offense

If that's the worst it gets, stick with this guy. You may find one that's a hell of a lot worse than that. Give it a little more time
