I like the small ones, that sort of fit on your lap (the large, full size ones are too hot for me sleeping on), but I have to say, they keep breaking down, and I have to throw them out and get another one. Sunbeam is the brand, but I think it's just generally these products are prone to failure. There are wires in them and I suspect they snap or lose connection. My husband opened one up and tried to see if we could see any issue, or that maybe he could rewire or something, but we didn't see a thing. So, another $45 later, or so... boooo. But yeah, I like them for in the evening, when watching TV, curled up on the sofa. If you're warm, you do save on electricity bills, not having to heat the whole room.
I have used them and loved them, but can’t use them these days. Not safe with cats.
not safe with cats? why?😭😭 is it cause they bite the cables or something?
@blackcupcake That too. But mostly nails. They find them soothing so knead the blanket itself. The wires can get punctured.
Now I use hot water bottles. They are lovely when riding in frigid weather too.
ohhhhh….. I’ll have to keep that in mind for when I get a kitten, but for now, it’s only for me! hahaha and I want to get one because it haha super cold here😭
Enjoy! They really are lovely. ❤️🔥
cats make the best heaters, themselves... lol
@NathanDavis They do. 🥰
@nathandavis @dustybiker you two meanies giving me a cat fever when I can’t get one now…😟
that fever will keep you warm as well
@blackcupcake 🥹 Sworry.
@NathanDavis lmao So mean
@dustybiker right!!!😒
*slides into your DMs*
that was auto-correct... I meant to say sorry as well
@nathandavis fake apology…
@NathanDavis I didn’t say sorry. I said “sworry”, with emotion.
@blackcupcake no need for it. It will be hot enough. 🥵
was technically true... and a temporary solution as well
I'm about solutions!
@dustybiker teach him…
@prettypriya I’m already feeling it…🥵
@nathandavis you suck…
@NathanDavis Really great at covering your backside too. lol
No need to waste electricity when we can make our own 😍🤣
lmao... here comes the heat
@prettypriya *kicks of my blankets and waits for you*
@blackcupcake I gonna get ya hahaha 🤗
Why do I feel like someone put on a filthy flick in the middle of my opinion? 🤔
@dustybiker lmfao…
I was watching Shark Week... lol
@nathandavis shark week?
*behaves for a full week*
@NathanDavis Did that indeed give you nightmares last night? lmao
@NathanDavis behaves for a full week? Pfff
@nathandavis I will actually stop bullying you, if you do actually and seriously behave for a week… that includes not bullying me…
@dustybiker almost... lmao daynightmares?
@PrettyPriya you know well I can do it!! haha
@blackcupcake glad you agree to bullying me... also, deal...
@nathandavis not from what I saw like 10 seconds ago…
@NathanDavis lol
Thank ye for the mhg! ❤️🔥
thank you for the help!!
I love them but they seem to go bad from frequent washing. I am trying a BedJet thats very interesting. It blows air between the sheets at any temperature you set it at from room temp to 104f. I find it comfortable and soothing. There are a few drawbacks such as it has a timer and will only stay at 104f for 10 minutes. It will stay at 97f for 2 hrs and at 92f 12 hours. And I wish it blew more air like a lot more! I am one that likes to sleep in a hurricane 😂
As long as they are cared for they are very safe and they’re very effective.

They are good, but you have to love heat in bed.
I love heat in bed when it’s cold outside😭❤️
They are good and they work. Depending on the model and size you buy they can be quite affordable. They are safe within reason: they need to be plugged in and you can't have a cat knead them and if on too long folded up there can be a fire risk. My wife loves hers. I can't sleep with one -- too hot!
Often when waking and about to get up, I will get leg muscle cramps that are excruciating. Heat is the only thing that relaxes them. So for me it is a necessity!
They work. I like them when it’s really cold. Feels comfy.
I have a heated mattress pad. It is awesome.
Heating blankets are not for me, you just can't trust them so I like the other blankets.
If I rely on one when a blizzard rages outside, and the power lines fail ---> unsafe.
Yes they are wonderful and perfect when you are sick or on that time of the month
They feel nice but often times are not hot enough for actual, tangible benefits.
warm and cozy... ew
you’re ew
@dustybiker last time a doc checked my temp she was like "oh wow... still in the normal range for low" and smiled so nicely
@andres77 he’s not close to that
@NathanDavis lmao Did you mumble “Thank you” trying to hide your v-v’s.
@dustybiker he blushed because he wanted to go in with the elbow… if you remember… lmfao
@blackcupcake lmao!
lmao at "going for it"
Yeah it's good. But I prefer normal warm blanket
Never heard that before
I love them 🤗
They work a bit but never got warm enough to help
Never used one before
yes love them!!
Yeah they work and are fine
I've never had a problem with them
Too expensive.
I wouldn't
