Kind of. But over YEARS of therapy, I also accept that 99% of people in life, didn't have as bad of a life and upbringing as I did, especially as an American (maybe it's more common in central Africa or the Middle East or something) and I realize most young successful people didn't have to work very hard to get there, where as I had to put in tens of thousands of more hours, just to get to a fraction of where he is. It can still be annoying though, when someone can skate through life and have success fall into their lap effortlessly.
It doesn't even have to be someone younger than me, I just try to figure out how they have nicer things, take better vacations etc. I work my ass off. I don't miss days of work. I make decent money. I don't know where the fuck it goes but I know I can't afford a trip to Europe or the $20,000 boat. I don't know if they're in debt up to their eyeballs or what but I'm not going to do that to keep up with the Joneses
my journey is my journey, theirs is theirs, i am so far ahead at my age, i dont worry about others
That's true. I want this mindset
Fuck yeah
but don’t compare yourself. Your journey is your journey !
