So you didn’t like something about you Then went to the doctor So you could get Judged then placed on Pills to try to Drown out the things you don’t like about yourself good job 👏 I hope it makes you happy not accepting who and all of you. I don’t take a Pill when I don’t like something about myself I deal with it I don’t run to the doctor every time I Have a dislike or a Thought I don’t like I deal with it And I Process but not you you run to the doctor and beg for the doctor to give you Drugs cause your itching to Not feel a certain way
You think Vikings took a Pill every time They Didn’t like there battling Skills? You Think Ninjas took a Pill when they Lost a Fight? You Think animals that have it harder than you have ever had it take Pills To get Rid of the headache they have? You think carnivorous took a Pill when they Felt bad?
You will just cause yourself more problems you can either deal with your problems and process Your traumas Or you can run to The drug dealer named Doctor and Get your supply of drugs.
But not me I deal with my Feelings and I Don’t run to the doctor for anything.
People judge you because You Don’t accept yourself if you stood your ground and didn’t care what people thought of you and knew who you are you wouldn’t be Running away. Your not dealing with trauma you can’t Take a Pill and expect It to go away. Trauma is trauma and won’t heal till you deal with it. So Take a nap and think about what I said before you set yourself on a Path Of misery. Many people in life Have trusted doctors 🥼 Run away from there problems and To the doctor never processed there trauma Those people Never healed or maybe they Do therapy do Drugs that the drug dealer named doctor gave them and then they wonder why they have been in therapy For 10 years with little to no progress you can’t Run away from your problems do drugs because you don’t like something about yourself then expect yourself to heal. Healing is Done by dealing not Running to the drug dealer named doctor.
Ok uh I don’t take any psych meds. I actually accept myself for being autistic and I actually don’t even have a doctor so uhhhh I don't know where you’re getting any of this. I’ve been actively working through trauma and I do not run away from anything. You took a lot of liberties with you’re little story there 😂😂😂
I have met 3 people that were autistic - one was very mean - another was not mean but uncaring and insensitive - the third guy was very very nice but I did not know him long.
We often come off as mean because we have a very direct and literal way of communicating. We also do not use subtext and social cues like body language or tone of voice and facial expressions are not easily picked up on. How were they mean to you
The first guy was both very nice and very mean - nice when he thought I was single and mean after I turned him down. Everyone gets angry but he dealt with his anger by attacking and lashing out at others and he did not have proper degrees when he was angry. Like somebody who steals your French fries is not the same as somebody who slaps or hits you - he did not have those clear degrees and variations and levels.
Yeah that’s just plain mean then eep. Men🙄
You seem like a kind person and I think you can have great relationships and also can learn ways to deal with your difficulties or obstacles.
Yeah unfortunately not everybody has the awareness
As an outsider, my wife and my middle child is diagnosed with it, I know a fair bit. I am sorry people are mean an insensitive about it. I feel there should be more information and education on it.
From a parenting standpoint, there's time's it's aggrevating. It's not her that aggrevates me, it's the way the public and people at the stores have gotten upset about my daughter having a complete melt down in public. The way people harp on either me or my wife about not parenting correctly.
And from the standpoint of a spouse and friends with my life way before that. I've seen peope (men) in general. Get on her about being a bit aloof around strangers or have expected her to have more interaction with her. I've seen her "try" to mask her autsim many times, and it lead to meltdowns and panic.
The end of the day I actually find some of it to be cool, for both my wife and my daughter. I love hearing about their special interests and what drives their mind. Both of their attention to detail on certian things is also mind blowing.
In a TLDR nut shell: When it comes to autism there's always a good part and there's bad parts. Find the people who accept you for who you are. Let your autsim flag fly. Try not to hide if it if you can. :) I guess in a cliche way, be yourself, be amazing.
My kid is diagnosed on the highest level... level 5 if I remember correctly, and non-verbal. This is why I've started looking into it and I'm starting to think I'm autistic. I have a high sensitivity to noise, am stuck in my head with thoughts, and have this peculiar inability to memorize a spelling word or multiplication table for more than a few months (I've done it so many times so I'm sure about this). by the way, I hold a BS in Accounting degree... so yeah I can't multiply in my head but I probably can do your taxes for you better than the average normie. Put it like this... accounting classes are easy (calculators were required)... but the basic math classes where you're not allowed to use a calculator are very difficult for me. 8X7 always ends up with me having to add 7 together 8 times. I simply cannot memorize it for any prolonged period of time. Meanwhile... I can play classical music on guitar (prefer metal or punk), read on very high levels (in Japanese as well), and... I'm not exactly a dumbass is what I'm trying to get at. Would I be considered autistic? Or just a guy that had to work a little harder to get around the structures that be... where you're expected to memorize shit and recite instead of actually apply it to day to day life.

I know about it generally but not a lot besides. I'm friends with a few people who have it but it doesn't come up in conversation often. I guess I know it can disqualify you from joining the military, one friend was pissed about that. None of them I'm friends with like hugs or touchy stuff either—well except with certain people yknow. Was surprised about masking too but it makes sense, cause yeah a lot of people just immediately box you for it if they know. I guess I don't cause I knew people who had it growing up tho.
I know it can vary from person to person. My friend's sister is on the spectrum. Most of the time she is highly functioning, but once or twice per week gets overwhelmed and starts randomly crying like a four-year-old (for comparison, not criticism). She also tends to have a hard time empathizing with others. In normal conversation you probably would not even notice.
I have it and will confess to not knowing much about it
I know I'm like a supercomputer in as much as I can run numbers quicker than a calculator and have a good head for numbers in general but emotionally I'm cold and utterly emotionless but that might have been a coping strategy given I didn't get diagnosed until a few years ago I'm a obsessive about those few subjects I know luckily it pertains to my business so I can at least make a living despite the condition
I know it's an overused label when people don't want to take responsibility for things. "OH, I'm autistic I have hard time understanding facial expressions". You mean you're narcissistic and don't think beyond yourself.
What I don't get is when it changed. When I was younger these people were called mentally retarded. Now for some reason today it's called "Autism".
You’re ableist and ignorant. Scared little baby. Elon Musk, someone far far more intelligent and successful than your bitch ass is autistic.
Well you got the attention you were seeking. Happy now? 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know nothing about it but believe my niece was it as she displays the signs of autism but hasn't been diagnosed with it. She hates loud noises for one thing and mumbles when talking. I think my nephew might have autism as well though he never been tested.
I know a lot about it considering I'm high functioning autistic. Sometimes I'm on a whole another level to people when it comes to certain things. Other times I consistently struggle with different tasks.
Such is life I suppose. 🤷♀️
being diagnosed later is so difficult in my area. Either costs an insane amount or they only consult with children. Autism is a massive challenge especially if you are high functioning because people will just assume that you are just tacking something on your disorder list and that you don't "seem" autistic enough, which i have gotten countless times. its important to remember that our brains just get to the destination differently than others
Everything you do is not attributable to autism and everything you do does not deserve to be excused because of your diagnosis. You have yourself made up to look like a freak. How do you think people will treat you?
😂😂😂😂do some research
Research about what? I spent years working as a mental health counsellor.
Then they are not worth knowing, surround yourself with people who care about you AND your development 🥰
I understand that it's a spectrum and people are affected differently.
Well that sucks. People being horrible to you.
You seem pretty high functioning so just deal with any issues best you can. People will always be dicks.
Many people do not understand mental/physical handicaps. It sucks when people are quick to judge.
It is a neurological disorder whereby your brain is wired differently. Increasing your cognitive abilities at the expense of your social skills.
I don't tell anyone i don't have to for this reason
I think people are “horrible” to you because you look like a super-villain from a bad movie from the 1980s...
Just by looking at your face I know you have it
Welcome to the world. People hate "differences", no matter what it is
I'm actually autistic myself
People like to hate anything.
lol take a look at yourself
Not much, but I am learning.
I have it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
