Yes, that is cruel to medicate someone against their will. I would only assume that it would be against your son's will if he is not asking it. To induce a medicinal state on someone that doesn't need it is wrong.

You should, rather, talk to your son about focusing on school. It is an easy thing to do without medication. If he still can't get focused, seek professional counseling. There are many outlets for help with that sort of thing.

Libido decreasing medication isn't the answer to focus. You need to let a doctor determine what the issue is. It is MUCH more likely that he has an attention disorder, not a libido problem. You should never make medical decisions like this if you are not qualified.

Have him see his doctor. That is the best thing he can do, other than refocus to schoolwork. You are supposed to be there to help, not medicate. Talk to him and seek medical advice.

Children have all the same protections of the constitution from birth. The only difference at 18 is they become legal adults, buy cigarettes, go to war and can vote. That's it.

Also that's not correct. Certain industries like farming or in family owned businesses, kids under 15 can work legally.
