Where I live is in the San Francisco Bay Area / Silicon Valley.
Aside from my parents' house where I grew up, my current residence is only the second home I've lived in this part of the area.
I have, however, lived in the East Coast during college and in another country, the Philippines, for a large number of years.
All-in-all, I've moved and resided in what I consider "home" only 6 times.

I've moved only three times in the same area. I've lived in the back of a business with family, then in upstairs living quarters with family, then I moved into an apartment on my own for about six months (that was a mistake). Now I'm back upstairs in a business establishment with a husband and two loveable mutts (three if you count my husband).
