Is it desperate to ask someone for a job twice?

I am a belly dancer. About a year ago, I asked a place if they’d like to hire me. The owner replied saying go ahead and send me your videos. At this time I didn’t have much performance experience and my videos were quite amateur. The owner didn’t reply. But since then I’ve got a lot more experience performing and have set up and Instagram etc. Would it be desperate to ask twice?

t's not desperate, it's not like dating where you can be desperate. With job searches, you have to be persistent to get what you want. In fact, trying more than once sets you apart from the rest. It shows dedication and ambition.
