I trust women to do whatever they want (Same with most men for that matter).

I can love women and respect certain aspects of their personalities without being naive and thinking I'm completely safe. You're either the most valuable to someone, and they put you first with their actions or they don't. The idea of "Trust" is an illusion. It's like some made up fantasy to make people feel better.

Yes that should be the starting block, mutual respect. If you disrespect people you will only get on their bad side and get treated as the ahole you are. So be the better man and let them fail first.
