I would love a dog, but have allergies, and I don’t really have the option for having a dog (even without allergies), so something that could get shut down for a few days… and something that didn’t poop or get really sick, etc - sure.

In my situation a robotic dog would work because I live alone & work long hours. If I find little batteries around the house I’m calling animal control.

That is certainly a fair point. Our pooch has it pretty good. With a few kids around and me working from home when I'm not traveling, and my husband not working every single workday, she gets a decent amount of attention.

As for me I rather have a real dog as well & believe me I love dogs however a real dog isn’t in the cards right now. I live alone & work long hours & as much as I would love to have a real dog it wouldn’t be fair. Maybe a robotic dog would work for me.

As for the robotic dog in the above video it’s 4 years old & I can only imagine how technology has improved. I’m going to research & see if they are still making robotic dogs.
