We've hade humanoid robots for decades. They're usually concept builds to show off where the tech currently stands. We are still in the middle of the uncanny valley so we'll need to get past that, and then we will need cheaper and more fluid actuators so they aren't slow af.
But we're getting there. And once they start having them do manual labor, we will need an economic overhaul that would essentially require a UBI. Otherwise our entire socioeconomic fabric will collapse under the obsolescence of human labor. We would have to find new roles for ourselves besides workers.
Now, to address the elephant in the room, yes I would fuck a robot.02 Reply- +1 y
Make them clean our house , You know mop floors scrub toilets etc.

Yeah, a multipurpose automaton would be handy. I'd use it as a maid, chauffeur, cook when I'm lazy, be company (and I'm not talking about a sex bot) and just generally do things I'm too lazy to do myself.

Make them clean the whole house while we are at work lol

... cook and then come pick me up.

I wouldn't buy it. I'm afraid of them, maybe the factory settings are messed up and they do something bad to me. :(

Ew, no. That’s like kidnapping someone and replacing their jaw with a speaker. They are literally an invitation for evil spirits. If they can make a character plushie from a kids book work then just imagine all of the chaotic events they can cause with metal humans. They might as well take over a non-believer. It’s disgusting. The ones that Boston Dynamics made are fine because their inventions are what they are made to be. Robots, not an attempt at replacing souls with A. I.

No. They’re pretty cool, I’d love to be able to talk to one and ask it questions in person. But to have that thing in my home? Absolutely not lol

Lol They do atten to have a mind of their own from what I seen on YouTube.

They could at least clean our house.

They are like Siri or Alexa, they are extremely limited in what they can do. They don't move/walk/run or anything yet either. And they aren't really for sale. They are still trying to perfect facial expressions.
You won't be able to buy a humanoid robot within your lifetime, more than likely.00 Reply Ofcourse! Only mine will have to be custom made with ass, vagina AND dick at the same time.
It can't give love, but at least it won't cheat on you, won't drain your bank accounts and won't file for divorce if you even look at other robots or people.00 ReplyNope, because I'm saving my money for a full on Terminator style endoskeleton. So under all the living exterior tissue, I'm this:

If they have no emotions and they can clean my house I am all for it.
11 Reply- +1 y
That was one reason I wanted one.

Maybe... only if i was the first thing it ever saw... like a child. I wonder if they can develop loyalty.
10 Reply I might purchase a love doll when they are 1,000 times more like humans. That is, when I can dress one up, take her out for dinner and dancing, and my friends and associates will believe she is a real beautiful young lady.
