Silly question; make it logical:
- If bats are blind, why do they have eye balls?

It's not a silly or illogical question.
Bats actually have incredible eyesight - in the dark. Bats rely more on sound than eyesight. Hence the earlier scientific confusion and the wrong expressions of "blind as a bat".
They need sight mainly as a backup. Or to put it another way, much like we need hearing to check for oncoming traffic when we can't see as well.
They have eyes so they have something to snack on in desperate situations

Bats are blinded by light, but their vision is actually incredible in the dark. They can see with crystal clarity in nearly pitch-black environments.
Bats aren't really blind. Think of it as a person who is considered legally blind. They can see but have very poor vision, compared to other humans.
Well, you wanted me to take it seriously, didn't you?
No, thank you. I never really checked up on how bats see.
I was hoping to find out that they have like IR vision or something akin to that. Actually maybe that's a good comparison, black an white film grain night vision. Poor color recognition, sensitive to light, but good for night hunting.
Eyes are not very effective in dark!..
Bats use eyes in long flights at height when its low light like moonlight!..
But for diving and grabbing insects and prey!.. UltraSound works better at night! In dark
Lol. They have very bad vision. They can still see. I wonder what would happen if someone put contacts on a bat. How would they handle being able to see far away? 🤔 Would they be more picky about their food choices?
we... I mean, bats are not blind...
they don't have poor vision either, lol
they're just too cool and have got lots of places to go, so that's why they seem undecided and seem blind... lol
bat-shhhhhhhh- crazy
Because bats initially roamed around Venus before shit got hot and then mysteriously traveled here under false pretenses while losing their sight along the way. All at the same time almost.
That’s actually not true , they can see but not that well so they use sonar for most of their direction
Lol..
I'm sure they can see just fine when there is enough light... can you see in the dark? Lol
If bats are blind, how did Aaron Judge hit all of those home runs?
Because they're not blind
Bat's are not blind they see just fine
Bats are not blind.
