+1 yThere are a lot of things that I will do. It really depends on what the problem is. One of my go-tos is my fiancé. He is always such a calming presence. It there is one person in this world that can calm my nerves and help me relax, it is him. We are two goofballs, but when something serious is going on, there is no one else I would rather have by my side.
Some other things that I do is either mediate or work out. Basically getting those chemical reactions in the body going that release what I need to lift my spirits. Speaking of spirits, if it is something minor, a glass of wine will do. I don't often have one but it is relaxing.
A nice bath with candles is another favourite if I have the time. The last thing that always helps me decompress is answer a Paulina question. He is already decompressed really so it makes me feel the same.
It really depends on the situation. I am a very easy going person the majority of the time, but we all get rattled and need some help, whether that comes from another person of something you enjoy doing to help relax.

+1 yat times for sure.
that's a matter of... um.. taking on more than you are emotionally and technically prepared for.
It's a sign you are in a time of change.
Id unplug from useless stuff that is stressful, increase relaxing stuff like meditation, nature walks, anything healthy. cut sugar and junk food... eventhough you crave it. Up exercise and look for ways to simplify life.

Not often. But when it does, I go talk to my wife or my best friend. Coffee. Go away from it for a little while -- not ignore it, but step away because on returning, I may get new perspective. Sometimes nothing. Again, not ignore it, but sometimes no action is called for. Decompress? Coffee. Run. Swim. Read. Build a model. Talk. Drive.

Yeah but now that I know what I want I don’t feel overwhelmed anymore or depressed it sounds simple but you need to get this right - and if too stressed or too much too think about I take time for myself to reassess everything, do some breathing exercises or some diy/stuff I like
