The correct answer is BHOPAL, INDIA.

On the night of 2-3 December 1984, there was a leak of methyl isocyanate gas at the Union Carbide India Ltd (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal. This industrial disaster is considered the world's worst in history.

Methyl isocyanate is extremely toxic. There is no known antidote. Exposure can lead to pulmonary or lung edema, emphysema and hemorrhages, bronchial pneumonia and death.
