I believe it can be increased unless you are 70 or 100 years old because people become better at new tasks after training that area of their brain. Like I used to be somebody who could not focus on more than one detail at a time, but after training myself, I could focus on two, and later I could focus on four. And in high school, my math grades went from Ds in the gifted program to low 80s in regular school at a time when an 80 was an A and a 50 was a D. Over a 3 year period, I went from D’s to A’s.

ouuu good question I just started my intelligence unit in AP psychology so I don’t know much yet, but there are many theories on intelligence. Some believe that everyone has a certain “cap” in their mental capacities and once you hit that you can’t go above that.. I forgot what theory that’s called but if I learn anything that would answer this question as my unit progresses I’ll definitely come back :)
Intellectual capacity can't be increased. The capacity to learn can be increased though especially if you surround yourself with smart people.
Intelligence increases as you become an adult and begins to decrease when you turn 30, because your neural processes begin to be damaged.
