Hi all so recently I’ve got a new car. I’ve got a citreon ds3. Anyway when I go to unlock the car with the key remotely then open the passengers door. The car locks itself again asif it’s closed. When I’m in the car and started the engine it recognises that the door is open. someone help me why it’s doing this please and if it’s normal. Thanks

Maybe take a look at the manual, since it'll be more informative.
Otherwise try a mechanic, they specialise and may just give you a 2 min quick fix
