Why do I not care about the opinions of physically unattractive people?

One time this user without a profile picture showing their face called me “ugly” and “shrek” and yeah I did get offended by their comment.

I still currently have no clue what this user looks like but I keep thinking to myself it would make me feel better about this event if I saw a picture of this person who wrote this to me and thought they were ugly looking.

Okay deary, this comes out of your wanting to know his standards, This will make it clear for you as to why he'd call you this. It's obvious what he described you is what he thinks about himself. :)

Sounds right. A person with high self esteem likely wouldn’t go around insulting complete strangers online. I’m guessing they likely have low self esteem so that’s why they lashed out on me. It’s possible I might even think this user is ugly to if I saw a picture of them.

I don’t know but if I thought they were plain looking that means I don’t find them attractive so I think I wouldn’t care that much either
