Not in the sense that you probably mean it, no. I have been fishing, though.
And inspired by a recent discovery (that scarlet macaws- you know, these guys:

- are actually larger than gyrfalcons), I've been looking into falconry. That's actually a huge commitment, and not the sort of thing I could take on right now (though Florida laws are laxer than most of the country's), but it IS a form of hunting (and conservation, given the miserably low chances a raptor has of surviving long in the wild), and probably the single most ecologically sound one, since there's no lead poisoning, no required power to smelt steel or forge blades, and again, you're making an apex predator healthier and happier (only about 25% of wild raptors make it to reproductive age). It's also kinder, as, like most nonhumans, they're MUCH less picky about making sure their food is dead before they start eating it. Interestingly, it's used as a form of pest control: it's MUCH cleaner and more food-safe to drive off mice or crows with a Harris hawk than with poisons or guns.
It's also MUCH broader in scope than I'd first expected; I knew it extended beyond falcons into hawks, but it's also done with owls (which kinda surprised me, given the whole "nocturnal" thing), harriers, and even eagles. Seriously:

And if I ever get a parrot, I'm definitely training it to fly off a glove and "hunt" ears of corn or pea pods or something.
I fish, but catch and release. If I kill or badly maim a fish, I have to eat it, thatâs my rule, but fortunately it hasnât come to that. HuntingâŚ. I just donât have the heart for it. I prefer my dead meat to appear before me, out of sight and out of mind with regards to the animal who donated it. I donât need to see all that, Iâd have to go vegan if I did, lmao. If you have fur, I consider you a friend, not a food source, unless the dirty work has already been done, and your days as a furry living creature were never known to me.
I donât kill animals. Many times I would go to kill a fly- ESPECIALLY if it was in the winter season- where it should be dead, hibernating, but mostly just OUTSIDE.
Iâd leave them tbh.
Iâd just talk to them and say,
âhey, just donât come over by my food or me. Donât get in my face, okay. Alright be see inâ ya.â Lmao
I DONâT know where they go when their life is sucked out of them.. why would I ever want to send them.. earlier.
They could have a really good experience while being here. Theyâre just what they are, I canât kill because I disagree with it.
I donât hunt for fun either⌠thatâs just⌠thatâs just messed up.
I completely block out the fact I eat meat, and try not to ever OBSESSIVELY eat or whatever, and I am thankful for each day I donât have to kill the animal myself-
But I never do that to nature just randomly or out of annoyance.
Yes. I grew up with a dad and brother who were hunters and married a man who hunts, so Iâve gone hunting with them lots of times.
those poor defenceless animals

Yes... Mostly birds but I can break down the other hunts for you as well. Birds are easy... dog will chase them out of the bushes and the shotgun is so all over the place you don't really need to aim. Pheasants mostly. Other than that... jackrabbits in the desert. Mostly... I've hunted other things here and there. For me it's just for food... I guess crabbing could be considered hunting as well. The chick I was with could catch so much squid that we'd eat for days offjust one of her nights out.
I don't care if other people hunt, but I don't think I could be the one shooting an animal. It's horrible and cruel. And I wouldn't like to see that. The more i think of this the more disturbing it seems to me
No, the closest I have come is fishing lol
It's not really a thing people do here, though I do hope to try it one day
Used to when I was younger, now I just hunt wildlife with my camera. Still fish almost every week from my kayak or on the ice.
Yes my father was quite an outdoorsmen so I was raised on hunting, fishing, camping. Of the 3 I never cared much for hunting. But I did and still do like fishing and camping.
Yep, several times.
Locally for hogs and quail, and once to Africa.
Iâve hunted deer before. It was fun but a lot of work and patience. I donât do it again.
Once I went with someone and used a shot gun another time I went bow hunting. I never actually killed an animal
I've stalked roe deer on a few estates and shot pheasant and wood pigeons.
Yes we do
Not recently but I'm saving up for a decent air rifle for small game and fowl
I used to fish. No more.
These days the only thing I hunt is beautiful ladies.

Never... But i would like to try this out!
Even though I feel bad for the animals😭😭
You can shoot animals with a camera. Itâs still hunting and murdering animals is totally unnecessary.
Yes, for money, records, a job, a girlfriend, information for a book I'm writing.
Iâve been hunting yes, but I went along for the track and didnât pull the trigger. I would love to learn to hunt though
No, it's a useful survival skill, but you have to put yourself in danger to learn it.
Iâve been hunting armed with a camera. Shoot pictures, not animals.
No I've never been hunting. I don't have the heart to kill an animal. I love animals.
I have not but I plan on giving it a shot someday soon
Many times but I only hunt what Iâm willing to eat otherwise itâs just murder. I also obey all game laws
Iâve been lionfish hunting. But never for land animals.
Yeah, eyeZ plays Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores alll the time folk
Yes, when it comes to food, the fresher the better...
I have gone fishing before, but never deer hunting before I would love to do that one once I get my combo license.
Ghost Hunting Only.
One time, and that was enough.
not for food...
Never have and never would.
Fishing is the closest to hunting I've gotten.
Yeah. Wild meat is delicious
No. It's not my thing.
No thankfully!
No, don't really want to
twice did not like it
Yes, many times
I would die first.
No I'm scared of it😅
Yes, I go deer hunting in the Fall.
