The planes were better than the fireworks but I think the people wasted their money to watch the fire works from the air. Ten years ago I paid a lot of money for NYE tickets on the top deck of a sky scrapper right beside the firework barges. Obviously there was a girl I was wanting to impress and the ticket included unlimited margaritas for her.

I thought we'd be right amongst bursting sky rockets but as it turned out sky rockets don't go up that high and it was a really dud view. Plus the girl didn't drink enough margaritas. A fool and his money are soon parted.
