What is the difference between the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Oled?

I have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on my current Nintendo Switch if I end up getting the Nintendo Switch Oled. Would I be able transfer the membership over to the Oled?

Can you use the the old joy-cons from the Nintendo Switch old on the new Nintendo Switch Oled?

No, it's not worth it. It's trash, just like the Switch hardware itself. I never got one cause I was waiting for a Switch pro to come out (a REAL home console that doesn't require being portable or mobile and doesn't have poorly made joy-cons that break after a month), but they never made it. So I never bought a Switch. And after years of using Steam, probably never will now.

If it wasn't for their IPs, Nintendo would've failed as a company during their Wii U days. I grew up being a Nintendo fan, but they lost me sometime between the Gamecube and the Wii. All I want to do is play good games; I hate Nintendo's wacky experimentation crap, like the Wii, Wii U, and Switch. I just want a gaming console. Although I do give them credit for thinking outside the box. It ain't worth $500 from me though; but I give them credit.

If you already own a switch i don't think its worth it.

The main difference is the bigger and better OLED Screen which shows a better image in handheld mode, and some slight improvements eg to the stand and other details, but the main hardware components are identitcal (CPU/GPU/Ram...)

However of your current switch breaks down, you can use all switch components with the OLED (Joycons/SD Card/Games/Cables/even the docking station)

As well as simply log into your current account and you got all cloud saved game files, as well as all digital games, and the membership.

You’re basically just getting some subtle upgrades with a little better screen and more internal memory. Personally I don’t think it’s worth the money. I’ll just keep my old one until they release a next generation model

No, the games are not high enough quality in visuals to need a better screen, and the new system is otherwise the same. If they ever release one that allows saves on the sd card, thats worth an upgrade.
