Is a gaming PC worth the investment?

Depends- are you talking top-of-the-line, bleeding-edge tech? If you have to ask, then you probably wouldn't get enough use out of it. But if you go with hardware that's a couple of years old, not only is it VERY worth it (assuming you play games enough, of course), but it's a BIG long-term investment, since you can upgrade parts one at a time as needed, saving a LOT of money over a comparable console player.

Its an enjoyable hobby. And like most hobbies it does need some money you need to invest into, to buy hard- and software. and the time you invest into it.

If you have fun doing all these its worth it.

I guess if you’re passionate about it. My gaming years were 2001-2015 (elementary through the early years of college) and that was by consoles. I lost interest after that and barely play 1 month a year now. So i personally wouldn't buy one
