not hate, but not a big fan. They are animals and can be "triggered "and since they are so powerful, hard to control or subdue.
I've volunteered to walk these dogs, and they were good dogs... but very powerful. There's a lot of rescue dogs here... and none are "pure". But these are really strong and less trained.
If they are trained well maybe ok.
I don't like to see little kids and people mauled to death by dogs.
I much prefer doberman, german shepard, a few others.
Not at all, but show the Rottweiler respect, and be cautious. Some will be trained to defend so be aware.
No way! I don't hate any kind of dogs. He might come across as dangerous and stuff but they can be really affectionate and loyal to the people who take care of him.
I don't hate them but I am scared of them...

No Rotties are adorable! I used to be a little fearful of them until I dogsat/walked my coworkers rottie and he was the sweetest dude ever. He was to standard so he had the docked tail and he’d be on her bed watching me and then his little nubby tail would get his whole body wiggling then he’d meet me at the door for our walk. My dog also has about 29% rottie in him.
Bully breeds have cute smiles. Pitties included. Dogs aren’t scary it’s just important to remember that many were bred for a specific purpose; purposes that aren’t used as often today. Rottweilers we’re originally bred to pull meat carts. Yorkshire terriers we’re bred as ratters. So humans specifically bred for desired traits. Some dogs were bred for animal aggression and same sex aggression. The issue we see today is bybs just breeding for money and not to improve the breed so we end up with genetic disorders and poor temperaments.
I’m aware and I addressed why that happens. But pitbulls aren’t the only dogs that attack; I’ve seen a golden retriever attack several people. As said before with breeds becoming popular people aren’t breeding to better the breed they’re doing it for money, colour or exaggerated features. They’re not reputably bred.
Again you have to respect the breeds and understand what they were originally bred to do and then understand the traits and genes that were selected and cultivated to achieve that goal. It’s why if you’re looking for a specific breed you want to do your due diligence and find a reputable breeder that breeds for temperament, makes sure their dogs are clear for genetic conditions and preventable diseases. You also want to get a dog that fits your lifestyle; if you’re not an active person a Belgian Malinois isn’t the breed for you. For the APBT specifically they were bred to hold bulls for branding and dispatch. We also used them for bloodsports; as a result we bred them to be animal aggressive/selective and some are same sex aggressive. A well bred APBT shouldn’t be human aggressive but you are more likely to see human fearfulness and possibly human aggression in a backyard bred APBT. But you can see that in any poorly bred dog. My dog is a mutt and he has some undesirable traits that can border on dangerous traits.
Rottweilers? No! I don't like owners who are irresponsible and either don't train their dogs, or who train their dogs to attack.
@Agape93 Yep. Everyone always jumps to "It's the dog's fault!" Blah blah blah. Sure, I mean dogs are animals and they can be unpredictable, even when well trained. But a responsible owner will not A) teach their dog to be an asshole, and B) they will have control of their dog at all times, and be able and willing to remove the dog from a situation.
Rotties are such goofballs. My friend has one who doesn't know her ass from her elbow, I'm sure of it. LOL!
Co to jest, Rotweiller? Those things are agressive
Look at it, what a cutey. Now look down, those muscles, this cutey keeps you safe.
I know! <3
No why? My friend has one, but looked skittle different in the face. He was a huge puppy till the end. Miss him.
No, I hate the people who turn them into killers.
Is it bred that way? If so, than that's wrong.
No, I love Rottweilers
No.
.
Yeah actually
Hate rottweilers and pit bulls.
not at all, rotties are cute
Nah I love rottweilers.
cutie!!!
dogs don’t just attack unless they’re feral, they feel threatened or if they’re simply trained to do so which they aren’t most of the time.
most people who own dogs will warn you if they’re dogs aren’t used to strangers or don’t like people much in general if you try to approach. so do not demonise the poor dogs.
street dogs… you said it yourself. that is their nature because a lot of times, those poor dogs get tormented by kids and teens and even adults, so they automatically attack if you get too close because they feel threatened. A trained dog, does not just attack.
you’re just misinformed and narrow minded.
I have had 3 Rottweilers in my life, still have 2. They are guard dogs. They don't attack people unless you mistreated them, you didn't train them at all or socialize them, or they have a medical issue. You mistake street dogs who are essentially feral, or desperate, with house pets and protectors.
lmfao… chihuahuas are feisty
lmfao…
Nope.
