Someone can be sexy and that could mean I’d date them or think dirty thoughts about them but not date them. Someone could be cute and that could mean I’d date them or only find them attractive but not want to date them. On a scale of 1-10, sexy is often 9/10 and its often based more on their body then face. 8 is more so hot and often based on face and body while 9+ is more out of my league. Cute is often 6 or 7 out of 10 and solely based on face. I’d date a 7 but not a 6. For example in my book, Brad Pitt or Reggie Bush would be a 9 (sexy). Chris Evans or Boris Kodjoe an 8 (hot). Dylan Obrien or Kofi Sirobe a 7 (cute) and Dylan Minette or Daniel Ezra a 6 (attractive but not cute enough to date).
So I would say that the words are a similar level compliment but that cute is more of a platonic or non-sexual term while sexy is obviously speaking of sex appeal. For example I can tell a friend that I think her outfit is cute or sexy but if I say her outfits is sexy I may be implying that I wish we were more involved…
Not that easy them two words to define, but let me give this a go.
Sexy: a bit more than erotic, awaking would be sexual desires?
Cute: lovely, provoking some more protective feelings?

i dunno, girls say i'm adorable, guys do too, and sometimes it's sexy. i feel like i'd rather be called cute though, because that means i APPEAR younger if they think that, right? Sexy is being sexually attractive, and cute is being attracted towards personality AND appearance
Sexy is a pretty obv. word I won't try to define it.
Cute is the more complicated word, it can mean different things in different situations, also sometimes it is used instead of "pretty" or "sexy" bc it is a harmless word so someone may think they can more easily say it than another word. But I think what cute actually means is kind of an innocence, childlike in a good way, and looks that go along with that, for example a pixie haircut would be considered cute, patent leather shoes are often considered cute. But, it can also be used for any kind of innocent group, for example I hear elderly couples called "cute" a lot, also it can be used about personality or actions not just looks, like somebody might say an adult playing hopscotch is cute.
JMO!They are usually pretty close to being the same but sexy is more:
1. Wearing lots of make up.
2. Displaying seductive looks on her face instead of a sweet smile.
3. Displaying lots of skin and showing off the body in a revealing sexual way.
Cute is little to no make-up. Dressing more modestly. Having a sweet and happy face but not trying to have a seductive face, not making bedroom eyes.
There is more but these are some of the main tenants.
Sexy looking is a girl with a lot of exposed skin. That would probably put me off.
Someone cute could be a number of things. A femme nice personality and a good looking face and possibly dressed a little more conservatively - at least her tits wouldn't as if they are going to fall out.
"Sexy" often implies a strong physical attraction based on appearance, whereas "cute" can encompass a mix of physical appeal, personality, and behavior that is attractive or endearing.
Cute also includes appearance of youth, witch is implying physical attraction as far as men are concerned.
A "cute" woman is someone I find attractive, and would like to get to know, with that maybe leading to sex. A "sexy" woman is someone I'd like to have sex with now, though that doesn't usually happen.
For me sexy has more to do with how they carry themselves. How they speak. How comfortable and confident they are in thier own skin. My mood also affects how I view a person. If im in that kind of mood you find sexy things about someone.
Sexual attraction vs aesthetic attraction. You can think someone is good looking aesthetically without being sexually or romantically attracted to them.
I don't know? I've been called cute and beautiful by guys. One guy that I went to highschool with called me "super beautiful". I rejected him though. I don't really know him well, so I can't tell if he's being genuine or not.
Age. You can be young and sexy looking and even old and sexy looking. You can't be old and cute though. You can only ever be young and cute.
I don't measure with the word cute cause that's SuS and that's what women use, for me it's just bad or bad af.
I don't find much of a difference there - cute to me is just as sexy as sexy itself.
Probably preferring cute since sexy coukd always be someone who has been promiscuous (without wanting to judge - STDs do exist and can get scary)
I think someone being "sexy" = good looks, confidence and presence.
"Cute" = a demeanour that may come across as attractive, dainty and maybe sightly shy? 🤔😊I didn't look for sexy sexy never cut it. Attracted girls all my life I always had a beauty chemistry attraction and if sexy was there it just happened to be there and if it wasn't then it wasn't there.
sexy = id like to bang her
cute = i can see myself with her
Someone who is sexy sparks sexual desires and someone that’s cute looks good but I’m not turned on sexually.
Cute is something pretty things, pleasing in a way that heart melts. Sexy is something provoking the luck, desirable.
I don't know. But I'm not sure if the difference actually matters?
Unless you're in high school. In high school a girl could have been cute, but I ignored her.Like wisdom and intelligence, both are different stats. Cute means how endearing someone looks, sexy means how attractive someone looks. They can come in different levels and combinations.
First thing you think with Sexy is: How great would she be in bed !!!
First thing you think with Cute is: Oh I wish I could hold her and hug her all day.
